Jessica told him all she knew and where she came from as he was calmly stirring his coffee
After all that exposition he took a sip and addressed the problem
Jaune: so you have no idea why you're here.
Jessica: yeah.....
Jaune: do you need to get back home?
Jessica: I have been living by myself after the murder attempt.
Jaune: that has to be horrible to live through.
Jessica: yeah. I'm lucky to be alive right now and this happened.
She noticed something off as there was another ring on his finger, did it belong to someone else? Why was it Red?
Jaune: taking all you said into consideration you're here to maybe learn something, help with quelling this world's trouble or maybe something else entirely.......
Jessica: that doesn't narrow it down much.
Jaune: it's a start. Maybe you need training?
Jessica: I think so I'm still new to this and for some reason my ring doesn't listen to me for some reason.
Jaune: well let's deal with that later. Eat it's my treat.
She just chomp on her burger as Jaune finishes his coffee
After a while of Jaune finishing helping the people he took Jessica to a more safe place to practice her ring slinging
She was trying to get a response from her ring but nothing happens
Jessica: why won't you work!?
Jaune: may I offer a suggestion?
Jessica: okay shoot.
Jaune: the ring is powered by Will, do you have something in you're life that makes you doubt yourself to an extreme.
Jessica: you sound like you have experience.
Jaune: don't change subjects, Focus on what is bothering you.
Jessica: I don't like the feeling of my ring not working it feels like I'm.....
Jaune: Powerless. It's just a Ring Jessica.
Jessica: this Ring isn't just a piece of Jewelry! It's my Strength! It's what keeps me together! Without it....without....
She was hyper ventilating as Jaune rushed to grab her shoulders
Jaune: Jessica calm down......Breathe. In and out.
She was still panicking until Jaune forced her to pay attention by glaring at her face to face
Jaune: BREATHE.
She finally stopped and did what he told as she starts to calm down
Jessica: I'm sorry it's just.....
Jaune: you survived a Bad Moment in you're life and the Ring. This Ring has become you're crutch.
He pulls it off her as she feels even more anxious
Jessica: HEY! Give it back!
Jaune: make me Jessica.
She swung at him as he dodged her attacks, she was sloppy and slightly trained but her lack of experience was there
Jaune: this Ring is nothing without a wielder. But YOU are something without it.
Jessica: like what!?
Jaune: you are Jessica Cruz, a survivor. If you were weak, you wouldn't be here today. You survived because of you're Will to Live. And you Mistaken this Ring as you're Will.
Don't simply try to take it from me. Will it from me.
He dangles the Ring in font of her face as she tries to snatch it, they kept doing this until she was fired up and tried to take it again until the ring glowed and forces it's way out of his hand and into Jessica's

Jessica: Argh! I have the ring but it still won't work!
Jaune: there is something else other than you're trauma hampering you're will. Please tell me what's wrong. I can't help you if you won't let me.
Jessica: this Ring is a Symbol of Power in my world, it's also a symbol of belonging.....and I always wanted to belong. So badly to fit into my skin and yet here I was forever different from my friends.
That sparked something in Jaune
Jaune: you don't need the Ring to belong Jessica.
She looked up to him to see a face filled with understanding
Jaune: I know what it feels like to wish to belong.......more than you will ever know.
His face was filled with great sadness as he looks away and upwards to the stars
Jaune: I always felt I was the odd man out, out of everyone who was Special. I was just Ordinary......
But I found where I belong because I searched for it myself....and I didn't need anything else to do that.
All I had was a Wish. I had to do the work.
You don't need a Ring to Belong.
She looks up to him and she felt a wave of sadness creeping up to her as she looks to her Ring and back to him again
Jaune: Our Decisions Shape our World.
She felt something in her stir as her Ring finally glows again
He looks to the Red Lantern Ring as it ominously glowed
She was happy that her Ring came back to life as she made her decision
Jessica: what happened to you Jaune?
Jaune: you don't need to know.
Jessica: after all that and you clam up now? You helped me, and I want to do the same!
Jaune: you wouldn't understand.
As he turns his back to her
Jessica: I'm not taking No for an answer.
Jaune: it cannot be described with words.
Jessica: I made my choice, I know what I need to do.
Jaune: and that is?
Jessica: I want to help people, but most importantly....I want to help you. I know something is off the moment we met. You're a Nice Guy and I don't think you're bad. It has something to do with that other Ring of yours. What is it? Is it bad?
Jaune: you don't know me.
Jessica: then let me help you dang it! You said it yourself, I can't help you if you won't help yourself!
Jaune: please Jessica drop it.
She felt it was bad to push him and drops it before things escalate but she won't let this go
Jaune: it's getting dark, we should rest. I'll teach you more tomorrow.
Jessica nods and follows him to his Farm
The Day Ends with one Problem Solved but Another is Found
