We see Qrow and Tai guarding the Relic Gate as they were part of the Best Team in Beacon

Tai: so....

Qrow: don't ask. I know what you're gonna say and No we are here to keep the Relics safe.

Tai: I was gonna ask what was going on, on the Frontline.

What did you think I would have asked otherwise?

Qrow: I thought you would ask a basic question like why we're here.

Tai: nah I know why we're here...

He noticed someone coming to the Vault

It was Penny

Qrow: hey kid, came to make sure the Relic was....

Then suddenly they were pinned to the wall by their clothes with her blade

Penny was crying

And from the shadows slithers Salem and Tyrian who had Pietro Polendina hostage

Penny: I'm sorry.

Qrow: No kid, it's okay.

Tyrian: no sudden moves or the old man gets it, you hear?

He kept his blade near his neck

Salem: I never realized it would be too easy. I guessed I gave Ozma too much credit.

As they strolled in leaving a multitude of corpses in the Academy as soldiers laid on the ground

She then puts a hand on Penny's shoulder as she was staring at the vault doors

Salem: now be a dear and would you kindly open the door?

She bit her lip as she puts a hand to the gate as a light emerges from the seems as the door slowly opens

Salem then waltz in the room carrying the Crown and the Sword

Then the door closes behind her

Tyrian smiled but before he could do anything a slash came across the side where he held his Hostage

Tyrian: AAAAARGGHHHH!!!!!

As we see a Red Nodachi drenched in Tyrian's blood

We see Raven Branwen bloodied, bruised and wounded

Qrow and Tai leapt into action as they tore themselves off the wall and drew their weapons

Penny grabbed her Father and flew away from his captor

Penny: Father!

Pietro: I'm fine dear. Help them.

Tai: Rae!?

He looks to see her barely holding on as he ran passed a recoiling Tyrian and holds her

She was badly hurt

Tai: what happened to you?

Raven: Salem......captured....tortured.....

She passed out due to exhaustion

Qrow was pissed to say the list despite their differences she was still his Sister

He charges the Mad Faunus as he then cackles and charged back at him as the two fought

Meanwhile inside the Vault:

Salem puts the Crow, the Staff, The Lamp and the Sword into a pattern and they all shined
