Jaune started his search amongst the nearby planets in the outer reaches
He found numerous missing persons reports and many people are wondering 2hat was happening
The Lantern assures them that he is on the case and it will be settled as quickly as possible
He followed the trail but something wasn't adding up
There was barely any pattern the missing persons ranged from teens to adults and they ate either civilian or a criminal
For every detail found another question appears
It was a difficult case to solve but eventually he found a common ground
Every disappearance had a residual entry trail that goes into deep space
It appears the energy varies in strength of when it first happened so he tries to find the most recent abduction
And he found one as he followed the trail
It was a long distance as he found the destination an assuming planet
He lands and inspects it
There was no sign of any intelligent life
No structures, No natives nothing
It was a barren planet
He followed the source of the trail
The Lantern puts up his guard as his barrier engages
He floats towards the target
Jaune found a cave where the trail leads on
Jaune: reminds me of....
He pushes his thoughts of nostalgia aside still feeling his loss and remained on mission
Once he entered he creates a light source to guide his way
He kept going deeper and deeper until he heard a cry
He found an alien child crying
Jaune: hey kid what are you doing here?
Kid: I don't know....I was just brought here....*sob*
Jaune: do you want to get out of here?
The kid nods as Jaune picks him up and lfliee back at the entrance of the cave
Jaune: stay here kid, I'll find the guy who brought you here.
He rumages through his pocket and found a scroll
He gave it the kid and instructed him on how to use it as he pressed a button and sent a signal to his ring
He told him that if he was in danger again just cal him
The kid nods and stayed put as Jaune entered the cave again
As he went down he found something where the kid was found
It was shiny as he knelt down and picked it up
He realized it was a power ring
But why would the ring bring a child here?
He noticed it was neither Green or Red or even Yellow from all available records
The ring glows but no voice came out of it like the two rings he got
