It was a Disaster Ruby worried for her Uncle's life abandoned her Team to save her family, it was on that day Jaune lost the last of his family from Beacon. Now there was nothing.......but a burning feeling in his heart. A Spark.
A Spark of Rage.
RW...
Ironwood pardoned Team RWBY for all the shit they did since Vale to Haven to Argus and granted them Huntress Licenses
Team RWBY was inducted to Atlas Academy to get them situated to the Inner workings of the Kingdom and their Standard Operating Procedure
They were left in the care of Clover and the Ace-Ops
Jaune in the meanwhile offered his services to Ironwood but he was given simple duties while Jessica was given the responsibility of Atlas' defenses
The Lantern wondered why he was regaled to smaller duties
Meanwhile in Atlas

Team RWBY was back to school of sorts as Penny was teaching them about Atlas
Meanwhile Jessica was doing patrols all over Mantle's Border Wall
Jaune in the meantime was working as a crossing guard
He was wondering why is he getting such assignments, he got so impatient he went directly to Ironwood's Office
Ironwood's Office:
Jaune: General.
He stood at attention
Ironwood: at ease soldier.
Jaune: sir may I ask question?
Ironwood: at ease Mr. Arc, you don't have to be so formal.
Jaune: I....I wanted to ask why are you giving me low level assignments?
Ironwood: All assignments are important even the little ones.
Jaune: I get that sir, but shouldn't I put my ring to good use?
Ironwood: it will serve 'you' better to be away from the action.
Jaune: why?
Ironwood: when was the last time you've gotten a proper 8 hours worth of sleep?
Jaune:............................
Ironwood: are you experiencing Nightmares?
Jaune:............................
Ironwood: by the lack of answers it appears you have.
Jaune: I don't want to talk about it.
Ironwood: that's just it Mr. Arc, that's the problem. You don't want to talk about it.
Jaune: what do you want me to say?
Ironwood: let me be frank. I know what Post Traumatic Stress Disorder looks like and just by looking at you and how we first met, you clearly show symptoms of it.
Jaune: I'm fine.
Ironwood: I beg to differ.
Sit.
He shows him a sofa chair as he just hesitantly walks away
Ironwood: Mr. Arc, this will be mandatory. If you want to continue to serve as a Huntsman.
Jaune: I'm a Green lantern, this whole planet is my jurisdiction.
Ironwood: and you are A Law abiding Peace Keeper, hence you must obey the Law.
You are in Atlas and you must abide by our laws.
Now sit.
He took his seat and just wanted this to be over and done with
Ironwood: take it from me Mr. Arc. I know.
Jaune: know what?
Ironwood: I know better than most what it feels like to Lose everyone.
Jaune: you mean....
Ironwood shows him his Prosthetic Arm
Ironwood: I lost my whole team in one operation, my Commanding Officer sacrificed his life to save mine believing that I will be a better Leader than him as he was already in his advanced age.
He is the reason why I'm still alive but I lost more than I was able to bear.
I was a mess.
I didn't talk to anyone....I was ashamed for what happened.
I spent most of my time blaming myself and thinking if I only did it differently.
Sounds Familiar?
Jaune:.......................
Ironwood: I was destroying myself over working, training really hard......even drinking.
Then one day I realized......my life is no longer my own. I Owe it to my Team and C.O to live the life they gifted me with.
Jaune: But how did you get over the Guilt?
Ironwood: I did just that. I got over it.
Look I will say it's not going to be Easy but you have to get over that guilt that has been attached to you.
If not for yourself, do it for your Team. Do it for those who are still with you.
Jaune starts to tear up
Jaune: what if I cause another disaster like that?
Ironwood: then do your best to avoid it. Learn from the past Mr. Arc don't throw it away. You need to be a better version of yourself from the previous one.
Believe me, I was actually a whole lot worse.
Jaune: how so?
Ironwood: you are well acquainted with Mr. Branwen?
Jaune: I know him yes.
Ironwood: I was so much like him when I was younger. I chose to drink my problems away. But I knew I was just running away. He's still stuck there and I have tried my best to talk him out of it.
Jaune: I...............I see.......
Ironwood checks the clock as he had another appointment with the Council and Jacques
Ironwood: well that's it for today Mr. Arc. Comeback Tomorrow at the same time. This Counselling session will be a part of you're Tenure here.
He stood up and left the room for his meeting
Jaune looks at his hand as he pulls out his scroll and opened it to a picture of his old friends
