"You are Oblivious, Lisa" Jennie laughed.
"You also think that." Lisa was pouting.
"I've been giving you hints to kiss me but you didn't take a single one" Jennie finally told her.
"You...did??" Lisa was blushing furiously.
“You’re so slow, you know that?” Jennie accused smirking.
Lisa’s shy expression shifted to smirk.
“Slow?”
She repeated, taking the challenge seriously.
Without warning, Lisa grabbed Jennie by the waist and pulled her close, leaning in. Jennie’s heart raced, but just as their lips were about to meet, Lisa’s phone buzzed in her pocket. Lisa groaned, ignoring it. She leaned in again, but the phone buzzed once more.
Jennie laughed.
“You should probably get that.”
Lisa sighed, pulling out her phone. She glanced at the screen and saw Jeongyeon’s name. Rolling her eyes, she declined the call, but the phone rang again.
She put the phone on speaker, holding it between them.
Lisa:
“What, Jeongyeon unnie?”
Jeongyeon:
“Uh... something happened.”
Lisa:
“What did you do this time?”
Jeongyeon:
“Nayeon and I... we kissed.”
Jennie and Lisa froze, staring at each other in disbelief. Lisa leaned closer to the phone.
Lisa:
“Wait, what? Say that again?”
Jeongyeon:
“We kissed, okay?!”
Jeongyeon sound flustered
Lisa blinked, still processing the information and stared at Jennie.
Lisa:
“So... how do you feel about it?”
Jeongyeon:
“I... I think I like her. But I’m not gonna tell her, Not yet.”
Lisa:
“Take it slow, No rush we will help you, you know that.”
There was a pause, and then Jeongyeon asked,
“Where are you right now?”
Lisa smirked, looking at Jennie.
“Oh, I’m on a date with Johnny.”
Jennie’s jaw dropped, and she slapped Lisa’s arm, making Lisa laugh as Jeongyeon groaned.
“I hate you both,”
Jeongyeon muttered before hanging up.
Once the call ended, Jennie and Lisa burst into laughter.
“I can’t believe Jeongyeon and Nayeon! ” Jennie said laughing.
They shared a laugh, and the rest of the night was filled with lighthearted conversation. As they walked back to Lisa’s car, Lisa leaned in, planting a gentle kiss on Jennie’s cheek.
"I love you" Lisa whispered in Jennie's ears softly.
Jennie blushed, her heart raced as she replied back.
"I love you too" Lisa's smile was touching her ears.
And with that, their night ended with shared laughter, light teasing, and a promise of more to come.
