CHAPTER 33

"WHAT THE-"

To her surprise, she shoved Lisa off the bed with a loud thud.

"Ow!"

Lisa yelped from the floor, rubbing her sore shoulder.

Mrs. Kim, trying to hold back laughter, rushed over to help Lisa up.

"Oh dear, are you alright, Lisa?"

"Mom!"

Lisa exclaimed and hugged Mrs Kim tightly and Mrs Kim bugged back.

Ella, meanwhile, stood there wide-eyed, staring at the scene before her: Lisa, half-naked in her sports bra, and Jennie still lying in bed in nothing but her bra. A mischievous grin crept onto her face.

"Oh, why are you both half-naked?!" she teased.

Jennie, still groggy, blinked and then suddenly realized she was also not exactly fully dressed. Her face turned crimson, and she scrambled to find her t-shirt.

"It's not what it looks like!"

Mrs Kim folded her arms, pretending to be serious but clearly suppressing a smirk.

"Oh, really? So... why are both of you half-naked? Did someone undress in their sleep, perhaps?"

Both?

Lisa thought standing there awkwardly, suddenly realized Jennie was still in her bra too. She glanced over, then immediately looked away, cheeks burning. Ella was quick to notice.

"Lisa unnie, you can stare at Jennie's body. It's all yours anyway!"

Both Jennie and Lisa turned a deep shade of red, blushing furiously.

"Ella!"

Jennie yelped, pulling on her t-shirt at record speed.

Lisa, desperately looking for her discarded shirt, muttered,

"It's not like that! We didn't-"

Mrs. Kim, ever the queen of teasing, handed Lisa her shirt and winked at her.

"You didn't, huh? So you're telling me nothing happened last night? Lisa, sweetie, you're a little slow, aren't you?"

Lisa nearly choked, shaking her head vigorously.

"No, no, really, nothing happened!"

She insisted, blushing so hard she looked like a tomato.

Jennie, now fully dressed, couldn't help but join in.

"Yeah, Lisa, you're a little slow."

She smirked playfully, nudging her.

Lisa groaned, covering her face with her hands.

"Why is everyone ganging up on me?!"

Mrs Kim chuckled, patting Lisa's shoulder.

"Happy birthday Jennie!!"

Mrs Kim and Ella hugged Jennie and Lisa took her phone and captured the beautiful moment.

"Come on, let's all go have breakfast. I made your favourite."

As they gathered at the breakfast table, the tension of the morning finally melted away. Mrs. Kim had whipped up an amazing breakfast spread- pancakes, fruit, etc. Lisa couldn't help but dig in, momentarily forgetting her embarrassment.

"Your food is best" Lisa said with full mouth.

"Agreed", Jennie, who was also digging in said.

"So you are living together?" Mrs Kim asked.
