Chapter 136

"All right... Well, if I hadn't met Y/n... I swear I would have never gotten married", Five mumbled. "Why?", Y/n asked as he gave her a soft look.

 "Too much deception involved", Five mumbled making Y/n give her a knowing smile. 

"Shouldn't I be the one talking about deception here, honey?", Y/n asked making Five look at her for a second as he realized what she was talking about. 

"Right... My bad. Sorry", he mumbled guilty making her chuckle as he took a bit of his sugar glazed bread making Y/n smile a bit seeing his lips covered in sugar and frosting. 

"That's alright... But you are such a messy eater sometimes, Five, I swear", Y/n mumbled. "What?", Five asked taking another bite. 

"Didn't your dad teach any of you Hargreeves men how to eat?", Lila asked making Y/n shake her head no. Y/n leaned forward as she wiped his upper lips with her thumb. 

"Why not just kiss me?", he whispered making her punch his shoulder lightly. "We are in public!", she whisper yelled. "I don't care!", he matched her exact tone making Lila chuckle at them. 

"You might want to take the mustache off, honey... It's covered in sugar now", Y/n said. "Crap... I forgot", he mumbled as he softly caressed his jaw pulling her hand away. 

"I swear I will do anything to make sure you will never get to wear this again", she mumbled. 

"So how do you manage these meetings and work? Where do you leave the kids at?", Lila asked.

 "What do you mean leave the kids to some place? Alex is good enough to look after himself and Eva", Five said. "Shut up! No way! You leave two kids all alone!", Lila said in disbelief. 

"He is just messing around with you. Our neighbors are very nice people. Mr and Mrs Brook. An older woman in sixties and her husband, live right next door. Their children moved out a couple of years ago. They had us over quite a lot when we moved there and at this point they are like family. They love to spend time with the children so that's where they are right now. I already put them to sleep before coming here so hopefully they are still asleep", Y/n said. 

"Yeah... We will just get them and put them in their beds in their room. They are usually tired so their sleep is rarely interrupted", Five said as she nodded. 

"That's good... Y/n, how's your job going?", Lila asked. "It's good. I just rejoined a couple months ago. I was giving full attention to Eva for almost two years. Did the same with Alex", Y/n said. 

"No, that's really amazing. You are planning it out well", Lila said. "I was doing well until now because I can't handle my senior anymore", Y/n said. 

"Why? What happened?", Lila asked as she took a sip of her coffee. 

"He is just being mean to me all the time. Especially now. I feel like he has a personal vendetta against me. He keeps appreciating Five and keeps pointing out unnecessary mistakes in my work... Which aren't even mistakes by the way", Y/n said.
