Chapter 142

"Well, there's only one way to find out", Five said. "Hell yeah", Diego mumbled taking out a bunch of his keys from his jacket pocket.

 "Road trip", he said rather enthusiastically as they started walking out of the shop. "Wait... You guys are serious?", Y/n asked. 

"Yeah. Really? Are we really doing this?", Viktor asked. "Hell yeah, we're doing this", Diego said.

"Is it really a good idea to have a long road trip when we are looking and feeling that miserable?", Y/n asked. "When have we ever done something sensible?", Klaus mumbled. 

"Can't argue with you there", Five said. "But you look fine, Y/n... I mean sure you are feeling just as bad but you don't really look that bad at all", Klaus said as Y/n looked at Five nodded in agreement.

"What about the kids?", Y/n mumbled. "Exactly! You do realize we have three small children, yeah? And they have two as well", Lila told Diego pointing at Five and Y/n. 

"Lila. Look, hey. Today's Wednesday, okay? The twins have garden club, and Grace has gymnastics, okay? Uncle Lenny can pick 'em up, okay?", Diego argued. 

"Five...", Y/n mumbled as he held onto her arm while they were walking ahead. 

"Honey... I know we haven't really left the kids like this before but... We really need to go this time. If it wasn't for the marigold I would have never done that but... That is what is making me more concerned", Five said. 

"I understand really but... Alex... He is at his sports club right now and we have to pick him up", Y/n said. 

"Okay. We will call Mrs Brook. We tell her and her husband to pick Alex up. I am sure they would be very happy to help", Five said as she looked at him still a bit skeptically. 

"Listen to me, darling. It is still afternoon now. And then we go to this stupid place and come back as soon as possible", Five suggested. 

"No. I know you re right. But... it's just they... they haven't stayed away from us for more than just a few hours, Five... What about Eva? She is too young. She wasn't really well this morning", Y/n said. 

"Love... It's for their own good, trust me", Five said as she too a minute trying to decide what to do but she knew they were short on time for now. "Okay. Fine", she sighed. 

"Alright. Listen up people", Diego said as everyone reached closer to the van. "Road trip?", Klaus asked. "First mission back, baby! We're back!", Diego yelled enthusiastically. 

"I am going to make a call", Y/n mumbled walking closer to the payphone on the wall right next to them. 

"Where'd she go?", Diego asked. "To tell our neighbors to pick our son up from his sports club", Five said. 

"Five... I know this isn't the first time but... How do I make this stupid thing work!", Y/n asked, her voice coming out very frustrated.
