Louis had been dating Martin for 4 weeks now, but they had only been on 4 dates, mainly because of Louis, who didn't have a lot of free time, but Martin seemed okay with that. But despite their lack of seeing each other in person, they texted and even talked on the phone all the time, which made it feel like they had been together for longer.

Today was their fifth date, and Louis had invited Martin over, deciding he wanted to tell him the truth about his pregnancy, and he didn't want to do that out in public, he rather do it in the safety of his home.

It was a Sunday, and Maeve was spending the day with Harry, which was part of the reason why he had invited Martin today; it was way too soon to introduce him to Maeve.

Louis cooked lunch for them, and he set up the table nicely, wanting to cause a good impression. He also took off the fridge the ultrasound  pictures on the baby, not wanting Martin to see them before he could tell him about the pregnancy.

Truthfully, he was nervous about the situation, mainly because he really liked Martin, and he didn't want him to be mad at him for not telling him sooner, and also because he didn't want him to leave him because of it.

When Martin arrived, Louis took a deep breath and opened the door of the flat, and smiled at the other man.

"Hey" Louis greeted him.

"Hi" Martin said and leaned down and kissed his lips briefly "Thanks for the invitation".

"Of course" Louis replied.

"I brought you these" Martin said and offered Louis a small bouquet of flowers, it was Daisies.

"Thank you" Louis grinned "They're beautiful".

"It's nothing" Martin brushed off.

Louis led him to the living room and offered him a drink, and then brought one for himself and Martin, telling him lunch was almost ready.

When they finally sat down to eat, they talked about a lot of things, including their jobs, Maeve, and even current events. Whenever they talked, they never ran out of things to say, it was like there were endless topics of conversation between them.

Finally, after they ate dessert, Louis finally gathered enough courage to tell Martin what he needed to say.

"I need to tell you something" Louis started.

"What's that?" Martin smiled.

"I'm... pregnant" Louis said honestly.

"Pregnant? But... we haven't..." Martin mumbled, looking confused.

"I know" Louis said, and smiled a little "It happened before I met you".

"Oh".

"Yes" Louis said not sure what that 'oh' meant.

"Are you keeping it?" Martin asked unsure.

"I am" Louis confirmed "I planned this baby, I wanted to get pregnant".

"Oh?" Martin said again.

"You know I have Maeve" Louis said, wanting to explain.

"Yes" Martin confirmed.

"I didn't want her to be an only child, so I planned to have another baby, and this is that baby" Louis said putting his hand on his flat stomach.

Because yes, he was 13 weeks along and he still didn't have a bump.

"So you used a sperm donor or...?" Martin asked still looking confused.

"I wanted to, but, uhm... I ended up using Harry's sperm" Louis answered.
