Louis drove to Bristol with Maeve on the 23rd of December, and they arrived there in the afternoon.

Maeve was excited to see all the Christmas decorations that her grandparents had put throughout the house, starting with the huge Christmas tree, and Louis made sure to point out to her the boot with her name on it.

"Next year we'll need a new boot" Louis said casually to his parents.

"What do you mean?" Jay asked looking confused.

"I'm pregnant" Louis announced.

"What?" Jay questioned, but she was smiling "Are you serious, Lou?".

"Yeah" Louis confirmed "I'll be 16 weeks this weekend".

"Congratulations, love" Jay said and gave him a hug.

"Who's the father?" Mark asked after he congratulated him as well.

"It's Harry" Louis replied "And no, we're not back together, we just both wanted another baby, so we figured it made sense to do this seeing as we already have Maeve".

"Oh" was all Jay said.

Louis knew that meant that she had an opinion about it, but he didn't care, so he wasn't doing to ask.

"We found out this week that it's a girl" Louis explained "So Maeve's going to have a little sister".

His parents were happy to know that, and they asked more questions, but not about the Harry situation, they were respectful enough not to do that. And that's why Louis decided not to say anything about Martin yet, it was a very new relationship, and he knew it would only create more questions.

Louis ended up telling his sisters about the baby the following day during his birthday, and although they had the same shocking reaction their parents had, they all said they were happy for him, and to meet their new niece in a few months.

When Christmas arrived on Saturday, Maeve was the happiest in the family (Lottie's boys were very close second and third), and she ripped  through all the wrapping paper, her blue eyes shining as she discovered all of her brand new toys.

Because Harry wasn't spending Christmas with Maeve, he FaceTimed to talk to the little girl wanting to wish her a Merry Christmas, and told her he would see her very soon.

And that was true because although Louis and Maeve were staying in Bristol for Maeve's birthday on the 27th, Louis had invited Harry to come for the little celebration they were throwing for her.

"Hi" Harry said when Louis opened the front door of the house.

"Hey, come in" Louis smiled "How was the drive?".

"Shorter than I thought" Harry explained as he came inside with tons of gift bags "It took me less than 3 hours from my parents house".

"That's good" Louis said while he closed the door "That's a lot of presents, do you need help with them?".

"No, I'm okay" Harry said as he left all the presents on the floor, and took off his coat "My parents and my sister sent Maeve a few presents, the rest are mine".

Harry had given Louis Maeve's Christmas presents before hand, and he had put them in the Santa pile for her to open on Christmas morning. And so, Louis knew these were just birthday presents.

"I see" Louis commented, and showed Harry a coat closet that was close to the door "Let's leave them over here for now".

"Sure" Harry said, and he put all of the presents in there, as well as his coat "How are you, by the way? How are you feeling?".
