"Just observing", she replied. "What is there to "observe" here anyway?", Lila asked following her gaze. 

"A lot actually...", Y/n said. "Like what?", Lila asked. 

"Like the depressing statue of that unknown man and I am also getting distracted by the holiday season banner at the back", Y/n said as Lila looked at the banner.

"You are making no sense to me today... What's distracting about it?", Lila asked. 

"It seems very plain... Considering it's Christmas... The should have decorated it properly", Y/n said. "It's just a banner, Y/n. I don't think they care", Lila said. 

"What do you want, Lila?", Five said. "I just wanted to say thank you", Lila said. "For what?", Five asked confused. "For not outing me in front of my idiot husband the other night", Lila said.

"Well... It's the part of being connected to this department, you know", Y/n said. 

"Yeah. Well, standard operating procedure", Five said as he squinted his eyes a bit looked at Y/n realizing that she was well aware of the conversation. 

"You were awake last night?", Five asked. "Wide awake, Five", she mumbled. "Oh", he mumbled.

"Don't worry... You did the right thing", Y/n patted his shoulder. "Thanks", he mumbled as the trio kept standing in silence. 

"What are you thinking, girlie?", Lila asked as Y/n. "Nothing... Just that Jean and Gene couple", Y/n mumbled. 

"Right... Hey, so how worried do you think we have to be about this Cleanse thing?", Five asked. 

"Hard to say. You know, I used to think the Keepers were 90% batshit, but since I've been roofied with dodgy marigold, and I'm shooting laser beams out of my eyeballs... I'll give 'em 50/50", Lila replied. 

"Fair enough. I mean they... They could be somewhat right you know... Because I am sure there needs to be at least something true to the story. Even if it is a tiny detail. Why else would these things randomly started popping out after like... six years", Y/n explained earning a nod from both of them. 

"Right. Well, after this, we'll go back, find Jean and Gene", Five said raising his eyebrows slightly.

"Diego", Five acknowledged his presence as he walked closer to them with reindeer toys in his arms. "What are you three talking about?", Diego asked skeptically. 

"Trying to decide which festive drink to partake in", Lila replied. "And?", Diego asked. "Well, mulled wine for myself. Eggnog for the ladies", Five said. 

"You hate eggnog", Diego told Lila. "So does Y/n...", Five mumbled. "That I do", Y/n mumbled. 

"I'm trying new things", Lila shot back at Lila. "I'm sure you are", Diego said. "Ah...", Five sighed as he could literally feel the tension between the couple, Y/n being no different.
