Meanwhile, Rigby, who was totally bummed out of not being able to get the game with his best friend, sits on the living room couch in much aggravation from all of the time that he had to wait for him to come back to the house. As he looks over at his watch and realizes that it was now way past a normal hour of the night, knowing how punctual Mordecai usually is when it comes to work.
"Grr! Why isn't he back yet?! He's making me miss out on a huge game here!" Rigby yelled out loud as he immediately stood up and walked over to the kitchen to cool off his steam with a midnight snack.
Until he sees, Skips, who was working on the pipes under the sink and turns to him for help.
"Hey Skips, have you seen Mordecai? He hasn't been back to the Park since he last left on our afternoon break." Rigby asked, with his tone now calmer.
"Eh, can't say I have. Maybe he's over at that coffee shop that you two usually go to." Skips predicted with a shrug.
"Sigh. No, I've already checked there and I'm certainly not going back for that annoying waitress to just keep batting her eyes in my direction." Rigby replied with a grumble.
"Ha Ha. I remember those times. But seriously though, you've been friends for how long? And still don't have any idea where he could have went?" Skips asked, believing that the answer was in front of him, the whole time.
"Argh! I don't know man! He said that he had to go and talk to his mom about something but-!" Rigby shouted out before stopping himself from saying a further word and immediately snapped his finger when he figured it out.
"Ooooh right. I forgot, he mentioned about that. I might know where he went, now. Thanks Skips." Rigby spoke quickly before hurriedly leaving out of the house and hopped on yet, another golf cart to drive.
Which would leave Benson fuming in rage later on.
"Heh, no problem." Skips replied with a nod before returning to his work with the pipes.
Although, as much as I would like taking the credit for everything....
He pretty much solved that one by himself.
Skips thought to himself while continuing to tend to his own things.
As Rigby makes his way to Mordecai's old house in the fancy neighborhood.
Hoping to get some answers for his seemingly disappearance.

Once he reached to the residence, he knocked on the door and waited on the porch.
Knock knock.
The light taps were heard before the door opened to Mordecai's mom, who was surprised to see him here.
"Oh my! Why hello there, Rigby. I didn't expect you to be here and uh...." Hillary was going to say until she paused, wondering what could be the reason why Mordecai wasn't with him.
"Hi, Mordecai's mom. I didn't mean to barge on your place like this but I was wondering-" Rigby was going to say before he was quickly interrupted.
"Oh, there's no need for formal greetings. You can just call me Hillary." Hillary spoke, modestly.
"Ah, okay then. Well Ms Hillary, I uh understand that you had something important going on with Mordecai and I just wanted to stop by to see if he was doing okay. He was supposed to be back at the Park house for work, but he never came home." Rigby said, rubbing his neck anxiously.
"What?!" Hillary replied in much shock, now putting two and two together, all at once.
"I don't understand.... You mean to tell me that he didn't ask you to go with him to the factory?!" Hillary asked him rhetorically, with her hands now on her forehead in a panic.
"Huh?! Is that what he told you?!" Rigby asked rhetorically, who had also started to realize what was happening.
"Oh dear. This is not good. Maybe, I should call him to see if he's doing okay. But I...I promised...." Hillary spoke on until she suddenly paused in much frenzy.
As Rigby, who was now starting to see l how distressed she was getting, decided to speak up for her to help put her mind at ease.
"Don't worry Ms. Hillary. I'll go find him." Rigby replied in determination.
"Really? Sigh. Thank you. I don't know what's going on over there at that place. But whatever it was, I do hope that you do find him because I don't know who else I could turn to for help." Hillary spoke, now getting more worried.
"It's not a problem, Ms. Hillary. You can count on me. Just give me the location and I'll round up the other guys back at the Park to help me look for him." Rigby spoke confidently for her sake, despite what fears may lie ahead of him later.
"Alright then. Here, this the address to the Poppy Playtime Factory. And please, do be careful. All of you." Hillary spoke while writing down the address yet again and handed it over to him.
"Will do." Rigby spoke with a nod before taking the slip of paper and drove on back over to the park to get the gang together.
All for a mission that will certainly keep them on their toes.

While that happened, on the other side of things, Mordecai continues to watch the tape that he had found earlier on the mini television screen.
Which at first, was a normal work safety video about how he can acquire and access the rooms using a backpack with blue/red hands attached to help move from one place to another, known as the GrabPack.
As Mordecai, who was now feeling bored of the whole thing, wavers it off and tries to move on.
Believing that it was only instructions on that tape.
"Pfft. Lame. Why would I need a video to tell me how to use a piece of equipment? As if understanding how to push a simple button wasn't already easy enough. Eh, whatever. At least it's something that I can use to get me wherever I need to go. I'll just see if they have an extra one lying around somewhere." Mordecai spoke to himself before turning away to leave.
That is, until the screen suddenly turns dark blue and makes an eerie noise.
Screeeech!
The sound echoed like nails on a chalkboard.
Which caused him to immediately whip his head back around.
With a breezy cold drift of unfamiliar, wispy air sending chills down his spine.
And his eyes widened in shock.
Before the screen turns to a grayish distorted lighting, revealing to him only a partial image of a small doll, whose little arms were trembling in fear.
"What the..." Mordecai mumbled, while looking on in disbelief.
"Hello! I-is anybody there?! Please, whoever is watching this....static. you have to- Static. help me. Static. I've been. Static t-trapped for so long. Please... find me...." The voice echoed in a much haunting aura before the tape suddenly ended on a black screen.
