All until they reached what seemed to be another hand bar above them as Mordecai rashly tries to grab for the handle. But before he could do anything, Skips quickly peers his head above and sees something falling down!
"Look out!" Skips warned him before pulling everyone back to give space for what seemed to be a pink figure making its entry over to them in an eerie yell!
"Haaaaaaaah!!!!" The mysterious figure shouted out until it landed on the ground and revealed itself to be Mommy Long Legs in the flash!
Whose eyes were now flashed in fury over her plans to make their game its last not working like it should be.
"Ahh!" The group all yelped out in a startle.
"You cheated! And now.... ha ha. We're going to play mommy's new game. And it's called see how far you can go...before I catch you... 10...9..." Mommy Long Legs announced before counting creepily to them.
"Oh, not this again." Rigby mumbled in utter horror, referring to the time where a hunter in the body of a half deer and half man was counting in a similar fashion to hunt his prey.
Which was him, Mordecai, and their future girlfriends at the time during a camping trip gone wrong.
Except this warning might lead them to an even more terrifying ending if they....
"Don't just stand there! Run!" Skips screamed out at the group as the gang quickly rushes off towards the staircase and into another pipe room up ahead.
With the gang on the tips of their toes, except for Mordecai, who notices that something about this chase seemed off.
"Why isn't she following us?" Mordecai asked, confused when he turns his around to see that the mascot wasn't truly running after them all the way like normal.
"Keep moving. She's doing this to taunt you. We have to get to the other side if you want to activate the train." Skips explains, quickly.
"But, I don't have the last code." Mordecai insisted.
"I know a way. But you're not going to like what happens next." Skips warns him.
"What do you mean?" Mordecai asked, raising his eyebrows.
"I don't think you want to see it, so when the time comes, I need you all to run." Skips suggested as they all hurriedly run upon blocked paths with Mommy long legs's outstretched arms trying to claw its way through them.
Thankfully though, they were able to block all of the attempts of any of them being pulled away by her vicious hands.
While also using several handle bars to hold themselves up high so that they can cross over some of the exit points that she's been using to track them down.
Up until they finally reached what seemed to be their way out of the dead-end rooms.
As Skips tries to get through the next and sees another power gate up ahead.
"Go! Mordecai! Use the power current GrabPack hand to open the gate and get away as far as you can!" Skips advised in strong heeding of his words.
"No way man! We're not going anywhere until this mommy creature is gone for good." Muscle Man insisted, putting his foot down.
"I agree. No man shall ever walk the surface alone." Pops adds on with a nod of agreement as well.
"Why you-!" Skips was going to argue back, in much until he sees that the mascot was heading for them in a bull-headed direction!
But before she could reach for any of them,
her arm suddenly got stuck in the machine, as Skips yanks the lever down and activate the machine to slowly pulls her in.Like dough rolling in a particular pasta maker.
"Nooo! You'll make me become a part of him!" Mommy Long Legs screeches out before the machine finished rolling in the rest of the mascot inside.
Until a sudden malfunction stops the wheels in its place.
Leaving out a head and neck left as it's remaining part of her onto the ground floor.
"Ugh. I think I'm going to be sick." Muscle Man groaned in much disgust.
"Sigh. I told you guys it wouldn't be pretty that's why I insisted for you to run." Skips muttered, shaking his head.
"We didn't want to leave alone with that-that thing!" Rigby yelled out, in a shudder.
"Well 'that thing' used to be human once. But her soul was barely anymore more than the 'mommy' creature she was becoming. With an external family that she knew she was never going to have in her mind. Sigh. Anyways... it doesn't matter, so....let's just keep going." Skips suggests in a heaving sigh as he proceeds ahead of the path way.
While the group looked on in much concern, but ultimately respected his decision to avoid the topic and move along.
Thankfully, the path ahead wasn't challenging as they reach to an upper platform level of the building and sees the third code stuck in the corners of the standing poles.
While also discovering what seemed to be a trapped in place Poppy, whose body was all covered in spider webs.
As Mordecai grabs the code with one of his GrabPack hands while using the other one to free Poppy from the sticky webs.
"Thank you...I-!" Poppy was going to thank him until she looked at a particular someone and gasped in relief!
"Gasp!* You! You're here?! Hah...then that means you made it....after all of this time...hah. Well then...did you... get rid of her?" Poppy asked with her eyes not directly set into any of their direction.
As if she was trying to hide the person's identity from the rest of the group.
"Good. Then let's get the train rolling and see where the railroad tracks lead us to." Poppy spoke out as if their silence had already answered her question.
Leaving the gang puzzled and stunned in reaction to all of it, like a difficult lecture that was learned straight from a textbook.
Except for Mordecai, who took this into a different perspective and thought about placing those very words along with Skip's last conversation into some context.
If he was aware of Mommy Long Legs.....
Poppy.......
And the entire blueprint to the factory....
Could he be....
A survivor?
Mordecai thought, while keeping his thoughts to himself as they board onto the train.
Unaware...
That it was nothing but a trap set waiting for all of them to fall into their doom.
