It started like any other day—or at least, you thought it would.
The sun hung low in the sky, casting a warm, golden glow across your living room as you lounged on the couch, flipping idly through channels. A half-empty mug of coffee rested on the table beside you, and for once, everything felt calm. Peaceful, even.
And then, a loud knock shattered that peace into a thousand pieces.
You frowned, glancing at the door. You weren't expecting anyone. Standing, you grabbed the nearest thing that could double as a weapon—a decorative umbrella—and made your way cautiously to the door.
"Y/n!!" Wade's voice rang out before you even reached the handle. "Open up! We brought gifts!"
You groaned, leaning your head against the door for a moment before opening it. Sure enough, there they were: Logan in his usual flannel, looking mildly irritated, and Wade holding up a paper bag and a rose on tge other hand with a wide grin plastered across his scarred face.
"What are you two doing here?" you asked, raising an eyebrow as you leaned against the doorframe.
"We missed you of course," Wade said, handing you the rose and stepping inside without waiting for an invitation. He shoved the paper bag into your hands, brushing past you with all the grace of a wrecking ball.
Logan followed more calmly, giving you a once-over as he stepped inside. "Didn't seem like you had plans."
You blinked at the bag in your hands, pulling it open to reveal a collection of random stuff. A box of branded chocolate, a black scarf and what looked like an old issue X-men comic book. (for irony)
"Uh...what is this?" you asked, holding up the comic book.
Wade plopped onto your couch, kicking his feet up on the table. "It's a 'we love you!' kit Very exclusive. Very rare. Logan didn't think it was necessary, but I insisted."
"I said it was a waste of time," Logan muttered, leaning against the wall with his arms crossed. "But we're here, so..."
You set the bag down, pinching the bridge of your nose. "You could've called. Or texted. Or literally anything that didn't involve showing up uninvited."
"Not how that works," you said flatly, crossing your arms.
Logan smirked faintly, pushing off the wall. "Let him have this one. He's been talking about seeing you all day."
You blinked, glancing between them. "Why?"
Wade stood, brushing imaginary dust off his pajama shirt. "Because, my dear , we have an important question for you." m
Wade's grin widened as he approached, stopping just short of your personal space. "We were thinking..."
"Dangerous," you muttered, earning a chuckle from Logan.
Wade ignored the comment, placing a hand dramatically over his chest. "...that it's about time we make this official."
Your brow furrowed. "Make what official?"
Logan stepped forward, his expression softer than usual. "We want to take you out. Properly. Dinner, drinks, whatever you want."
You blinked, your brain stuttering to a halt. "Wait. You're asking me out? On a date?"
"Ding ding ding!" Wade said, clapping his hands together. "You've won the lottery! Two incredibly sexy men, one lucky Bird Boy. So, what do you say?"
You stared at them, your heart thudding loudly in your chest. The bond thrummed faintly, its warmth curling around you like an insistent hug.
"This is insane," you muttered, running a hand through your hair.
Logan tilted his head, his voice calm but steady. "What's insane about it? You're already stuck with us. Might as well see if we can make this work."
"Yeah," Wade added, stepping closer. "And if you don't like it, no hard feelings. We'll just keep being our amazing, supportive selves and pretend you didn't totally break our hearts."
You snorted despite yourself, shaking your head. "You're both weird."
"And you love it," Wade said, winking.
You hesitated, glancing between them. The bond hummed louder now, like it was waiting for your answer.
Finally, you sighed. "Fine. One date. But don't make me regret this."
Wade whooped, throwing his hands in the air. "Yes!"
Logan smirked, his eyes meeting yours with a quiet warmth. "You won't regret it."
"I already do," you muttered, though the faint smile on your lips said otherwise.
