(Kayla's POV)
Living life engaged to the love of my life has been great so far. It's only been two months and the tour was about done. We had one last concert before we were off the road for a few weeks and I was actually happy. That way Liam and I can actually enjoy ourselves. This whole journey has been absolutely surreal. I still can't believe that I wake up every morning and put on the beautiful ring. And all I do is stare at it for hours.
Our friends and fans went nuts. We made fans cry. Liam made his mom cry. My mom even cried! , , Julia, and Madelyn said they practically threw a party. Well, Jesse threw a party with one of our other friends that's in the movie business.
Which, in fact, Jesse's movie, Finding My Way, was absolutely cute. Liam and I were looking to go see it since we were still touring in England. The movie was coming out in a few weeks and I was so excited to go to the UK Premiere with Liam. It features the boys' song Don't Forget Where You Belong. He called me to get approval and after a word with the boys, I accepted it all.
Back to the engagement photos. Instagram and Twitter blew up. Articles going crazy. The pictures were everywhere online. People were loving it all. The team threw us an engagement party. And the highlight of my night: seeing Dave leave early!
Dave just keeps throwing shots but I'm just trying to ignore it at this point. We haven't gotten into any arguments since the last one where he called me a sneak. It'll still eat at me, but yet again, it's Dave being Dave.
One of the hardest things doing while talking with Jesse during these past few months was telling him I saw Mel. He was just as spooked as I was and you really cannot blame him. It was so hard telling my best friend that our high school buddy that we thought was dead was actually alive. Eventually, Jesse wanted to talk to him and we did. ...I'm not even gonna get into that, but let's just say it did not end well!

"Kay? You ready?" I open my door and move back to my , putting my earring in. Liam walked next to me and looked at our reflection in the mirror.
"I'm trying to get this earring in and it won't go in!" I groan.
"Well try being gentle. You might actually get it in the earring hole," Liam said. I turned and side-eyed him as he laughed.
"Hahaha, you think you're so funny!" I said. He chuckled and took the diamond from my hand as I gave him the back.
"Aren't you a little crabby," he said.
"Is it that noticeable?" I remarked. Liam glanced at me in the mirror. He could tell something was up.
"Too moody to know what's up," he said, going back to my ear. "What's the matter?"
I sighed. "I'm just tired. We've had a long week and I'm just ready for it to end!" I said. Liam put the earring in and clipped the back before looking back at me in the mirror.
