(Liam's POV)
I was in the gym getting my wrists wrapped and the gloves ready for Kayla to throw punches at. We had got all the cards signed when we got home and we were now doing some training.
"Liam?"
"Yeah?"
"I think my jacket ripped?" She called. I chuckled.
"I'm sure you're fine. Come on!" I said. I heard her laugh come closer as the gym door shut.
"But I like this jacket, you meanie!" She said. I put the roll of tape down and fixed my wrists.
"It's not that big of a deal. You can fix it later-" I stopped as I saw her in my sight in her . Her black sleeveless hoodie jacket hugged her upper body and her abs flashing, her long wavy blonde locks swaying against her back. Talk about being star struck, it happened all over again. Just like when we first met.
"Liam, you did it again!" Kayla said, putting her water bottle down on the bench after tightening her shoe. I gulped before blinking a few times.
"What?" I asked her again. She catches on to whatever I do because I never seem to know what she's talking about when she says I'm '"doing it again".
"You froze again. I think there's a glitch in the system of King Li," she told me, turning around, glasses free and her sparkling green eyes. I was once again lost in the endless irises. Just like when we first met- oh! Now I see what she means.
"I can't help it! You're beautiful!" I told her. She smiled and shook her head.
She flipped her hair forward as she bent over to tie it up. "I'm in a sports bra!" She reminded me as I walked up to her.
"Exactly!" I joked. I heard her smack her lips before coming back up from doing her high ponytail.
"Well, later, you can have it all! But I don't know, I'm still kind of tired from last night," she teased with her jokes. I wrapped my arms around her waist and look down at her.
"Shut up, you loved it!" I teased back.
"I never said that!" She said.
"So, you're telling me you hated it?" I asked her in a serious tone, using my reversal on her.
"Now I definitely didn't say that!"
"Do you ever say anything?"
"Clearly not!" She said, making me laugh. I pecked her lips.
"But who knows, maybe I'll get lucky again!" I said, face inches from hers before I placed a kiss on her forehead. "Now, drop jacket and let's go!" I said, smacked her hip lightly. She laughed and I unwrapped her. She took off her jacket and grabbed the gloves and I grabbed the punching mitts and slid them on.
"No kicking for this part?" She asked me. I shook my head.
"Nope. Just left and right punches. Then we'll get to the fun stuff!" I said with a wink. She rolled her eyes as she held back her laughing grin.
After she slid on the gloves, she jumped in place to get by herself warmed up. "Punch left!"
(Kayla's POV)
I was kicking the punching back left and right before Liam spoke to me again. "Punch right!" I turned and punched his lifted hand with my right arm. "Good," he said as I returned to my kicking. After getting a few more good hits, we ended it from there.
"Man, that burned my calories!" I said, slipping my gloves off, sweating like an animal. Liam tossed off the towel from his shoulder and handed it to me.
