(Kayla's POV)
"Do want to try this one?" Gemma asked me. I turned around and looked at the large dress.
"It's more flowy than you want it, but I think it looks pretty nice," Niall commented, looking at the dress. I give it some thought before going to my decision.
"Yeah, let's give it a go," I said. Gemma placed it on her arm and kept looking. I wanted to try on at least six dresses. One from each of us. It helps me with more opinions. That's how I do shopping with Lottie and Gemma.
"Ooh, Kayla, I found a good one right here," Maddie said who was a few feet by me. I walked to her and she pulled out another skin tight dress. But it was really pretty.
"I saw this one and it caught my eye," Julia said, pointing to the dress next to the one her sister found.
"I did too. But I thought it'd be a little too long," Madelyn thought.
"I like them both, not gonna lie. But I might fit better in this one so let me try this." We pulled out the last dress and I went to the room to try them on.
Going one by one, I tried the dresses on. I come out with the first option, which was . It had a little bit more of "dress" than I had in mind. But it actually fits me nice.
"Told you you'd rock that," Gemma said. I rolled my eyes at her playfully and she laughed. After a moment, I went back behind the door to change into my next dress. The next dress was actually . It felt pretty good. But it was a bit pokey on the inside.
"I love that," Madelyn said.
"I really do too," I said. I looked down and fixed some part of the dress. "Niall, fix the tag, can you?" Niall stood up and moved the tag out of the way so it wouldn't poke me, but it turned out to not be the tag and that the poking was actually eating at my last nerve.
"Still poking you?" I nod.
"And it sucks because I really like this one."
"Then keep it for choice," Jules said.
"Yeah, but you have to remember that she's gonna be in this for hours!" Niall reminded us all.
"If we find what the issue is, you can always improvise that," Lottie suggested. I hadn't even thought of that but I will keep it in mind.
Next dress was . I gotta hand it to my brother man. He really knows his dresses....now I don't know if I should be concerned or relieved that I can go dress shopping with my brother and get his opinion on it all!
"Niall hit this one big, sis!" commented and I started laughing as I walked up to the mirror.
"It's actually quite comfortable in this," I said. chuckled.
"You finally did something right!"
"Shut up, Maddie!" Niall sassed back at her and we all laughed. I took another good look before going back to change out of it and changing into which I really did enjoy.
It was a good color and it matched our gold/rose gold theme of the wedding.
After that one, I put on option. Loved the color but the fit was a size too small, just like we feared. I absolutely do love the dress though. She had a good eye for this.
Lastly, I did skin tight "mermaid" dress that I actually turned out to like better than I wanted. But it was too long in the back and I already stepped on it twice. Imagine having to wear that one during the wedding with the heels...good lord, a nightmare waiting to happened.
I tried on all the dresses and I couldn't come to my decision. But that was until Julia spoke up. "Hey, remember my friend Holly? She's one of the dress makers in the wedding dress shop a few minutes from my house?" I nod, remembering her clothing dress designer friend. "Well," she stood up and walked to a stand. "I had her make this especially for you." My eyes land on the dress as she pulls it out.
I think I suddenly fell in love with that dress. "Niall, get the camera. I think I just found my wedding dress!"
