"And that movie was an hour in a half long. We got a really good deal!" I said, laughing. Liam chuckled and pecked my lips.

"Alright, ready to go?" I nod and he let go of my hand as we stand up. I put my jacket back on normally and we grab our trash and walk out of the room. Throwing our stuff away, Liam walked off to the bathroom and I stayed against the wall.

Me:

love the movie, Jess!

Jesse:

was pretty good, huh?

Me:

it was cute, sad, funny, beautiful all in one!

Jesse:

lol, I'm glad you enjoyed it :)

I smiled at my phone and I felt a hand touch my shoulder. I turn and look up from my phone. "Hey," Mel said. Ugh, great!

"What do you want, Mel?" I asked him.

"Can we talk, please?"

"Not after what you said!" I turn my back to him, leaning against the wall on my shoulder. Mel followed around me and looked at me.

"Come on! Don't be like that! I said I didn't mean it!"

"You never mean anything you say, don't you. This is exactly what dragged us away in the first place, Mel!" I said. He didn't say anything so I looked back down at my phone.

"Kayla-"

"It's over, Mel! You're finished!" I said. Mel grabbed my phone from my hands and put it behind his back.

"I didn't want it to have to come down like this, but Kayla, you know I didn't mean that," he said as I remained looking calm but I was actually heated.

"You said I was washed up, Mel. You called me a worthless failure and bitch!" I said, which is something you never say to me or we will have a problem.

"Kayla-"

"You brought up my career and my dad and you think you can come to me and expect me to forgive you just like that?" I asked. "Have you no respect?"

"Yes, of course, I do! I respect you very much!"

"Clearly not enough." Mel came closer to me, coming face to face with me now.

"What is it gonna take to get that stubborn, bitter soul to forgive me?" He asked.

"Well, this stubborn bitter soul isn't forgiving you today!" Mel stepped back and began pacing the area. He walked around back to me.

"Kayla, I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I can say it all day! I can say it all damn year!" He said, raising his voice. "Kayla, I beg you!"

(Liam's POV)

I finally got through the busy bathroom and walked to the sink when I heard a voice across the door to the restroom shouting, "I can say it all damn year". Who was that? What was that?

Washing my hands, I grab a paper towel and dry them before tossing it in the trash. I walk out of the bathroom and see a man standing in front of Kayla. She didn't look happy at all and my instinct was to explode. So I moved quickly.

"Hey, what's going on?" I asked, stepping into the conversation as the man stepped back from Kayla. "Are you okay?" I asked her. She looked at me and nodded. But the look in her eyes told me no. "Kayla, who is this?"

"Mel," she answered. I turn slowly, looking at him.

"You're Mel?" I asked. He nodded at me, unsure of what to do. His hand was behind his back and I'm not sure why. "You're the one who called my girl a bitch? Are you serious?"
