Melanie entered the class to see Rebekah and Elena bickering at each other as usual and Stefan sitting there helplessly.
"Well, history's my favorite class. Actually, where is Mr. Saltzman...?" Rebekah asked and paused dramatically, Elena's rage intensifying.
"Oh, that's right, I killed him." Rebekah smiled.
Elena lost her temper and threw her pencil at Rebekah's face. The Original grabbed it and threw it back at her, which impaled her in the shoulder.
The two glared at each other. Elena removed the pencil from her shoulder and got up before anyone else in class would notice what just happened.
Stefan and Elena walked out into the hallway and past Melanie that was standing in the doorway.
"What happened here?" She asked, looking at Elena's shoulder. "Rebekah happened." Elena grunted and walked away as Stefan stayed with the green eyed girl.
She looked up at him. "How are you, Stef?" She asked sincerely and he shook his head with a heavy sigh, looking down at her.
She smiled warmly. "Thought so." She said and placed her hand on his upper arm. "I'm always here." She said and he kissed her head.
"Thank you, Elle." He said, before looking behind him to see Elena watching them with a glare, waiting for him to come after her.
"I got to..." He gestured with his head towards the new turned vampire.
"Yeah, figured. I'm gonna calm Rebekah." She said and walked in to the classroom and towards The Original.
"Elle! My favourite human!" She exclaimed, pulling her into a hug.
"I don't think you should be yelling this." Melanie said, raising her eyebrows.
The two pulled away. "I can compel them in under a second. I couldn't care less." She smirked and Melanie rolled her eyes with a small smile.
"Anyway..." Rebekah said and handed her a flyer. "I'm throwing a little anti-curfew party at my new house. Starts at fifth period and goes till whenever. Spread the word." She smiled.
Melanie did too, taking the flyer. "I absolutely will." She said.

Tyler opened the front door to see Caroline and Melanie standing outside. The former giggled when she saw him and put her arms around his neck.
"We ditched Rebekah's ditching party." Caroline said and Tyler looked to Melanie in confusion.
"I'm only here because Klaus told me he was here as well." She explained and he nodded slowly.
Caroline kissed him and looked behind him, noticing all the guards around the house.
"What's with all the testosterone?" She frowned.
"Hybrids. I'm on house arrest." Tyler said with a sigh.
"Says who? Your mom?" She said and lowered her voice to a whisper. "Come on, let's sneak out." She tried to persuade him.
"Not my mom, Caroline." He gave her a look but she still didn't understand.
"It's Klaus. Not that hard to understand." Melanie said. "Now, where is he?" She asked and Tyler pointed up stairs and she left the two behind.
Upstairs in the study, a girl with brown hair picked up a picture and looked at it when Klaus appeared in the doorway behind her.
"You're a new face." He said with his usual smirk.
She turned around and looked at him. "And I take it from your accent you're an old one. Klaus." She pointed a finger at him.
He smiled. "My reputation precedes me. Hopefully not all bad." He said as he walked forward, hands behind his back.
