"You drool in your sleep." a voice that clearly belonged to a woman said.

That was the first thing I heard after I snapped out of my unconsciousness.

I slowly opened my eyes, and that's when I found myself looking into that woman's eyes.

I sat up in a cold sweat and looked around frantically.

"Who are you?! Where am I?! What in the name of Gaia is happening?!" I shrieked.

"Relax. You're safe here. Everything will be all right." the woman reassured me.

"Still, who are you?" I asked.

"My name is Calypso, and I am a goddess, although I don't know what I'm supposed to rule over, because I was banished to this island." the woman bemoaned.

"Why?" I questioned.

"Well, I sided with my father, Atlas, and the rest of the Titans during the fight against the Olympians. Let's just say it didn't end up well for the Titans. We lost the battle, and I was sent to Ogygia, which has been my home for Gaia-knows-how-long." Calypso replied.

"Oh, I'm sorry. That sounds awful." I empathized.

Calypso nodded, then said, "Here, drink this. It'll heal your wounds. You've lost a lot of blood."

She handed me a cup made out of clay that had some weird reddish-gold drink in it.

"What the heck is this?" I inquired.

"It's ambrosia. Trust me, it'll heal your wounds." she responded.

I took a deep breath and took a sip.

To my surprise, it tasted like the ripe grapes that we had back in Ithaca.

"How did you make this?" I exclaimed.

"Oh, it would normally be the nectar of the gods, but it would usually kill a mortal. However, we made a mortal-friendly version of it." Calypso answered.

I took another sip, then another, until I had finished all of it.

"Are you feeling better?" she asked.

I touched the nape of my neck, and sure enough, the wound wasn't there.

"Yes, I am, but I'm still dead tired. I need to process everything that happened." I yawned.

Calypso nodded, then, she left the room.

I sighed and went back to sleep, knowing it was her I was going to dream about.
