Catch Me, I'm Falling

There is something about me that I never told anyone about.

Not even Atlas, who is my father.

I have the ability to Dream-Walk.

So basically, if you don't know what that is, let me explain it to you.

Dream-Walking is the ability to enter somebody's dream and manipulate the dream landscape.

But, even though I have this ability, I don't use it often, because it can be dangerous if used lavishly.

I had decided to pull out my power just this once to mess with the mind of Antinous, but it ended up backfiring.

I heard him jump out of his bed and run into the living room.

"Calypso? I need to talk to you! Something really serious happened, and I don't know how to explain it." he exclaimed.

He looked pretty freaked out, and I could see why.

"Hey, hey, relax. You're all right. Take a seat, and you can explain yourself." I told him.

He sighed and flopped into a chair like the air had been knocked out of him, and his shoulders slumped in quiet surrender.

"Now tell me, what happened?" I asked, although I knew all too well what had happened.

"I had a dream about you. There was a shadowy monster, and you protected me from it. You then told me about how much you wanted to leave the island, but you did it in a way that caused me to...Oh, forget it. I have no clue how to explain it." Antinous rambled.

"Oh, boy. You know what? I'll give you some tea, and maybe you can go outside and clear your mind. Is that okay with you?" I suggested.

He nodded, and I showed him where the door was. 

When he went outside, I closed the door and went to the kitchen to get started on his tea.

I decided to make Lemon Balm & Peppermint Tea, which gets rid of tension, nervousness, and digestive stress.

First, I put one teaspoon of dried lemon balm into a tea strainer. Next, I put half of a teaspoon of dried peppermint leaves into the strainer.

I then boiled some water and poured it into a clay kylix—a type of cup used for drinking.

As I mixed the combination of leaves with the water, I felt my cat rubbing against my legs.

"Oh, hi, baby girl! Are you hungry?" I crooned, then grabbed a bowl for her and filled it with tuna.

"Enjoy!" I chimed as I put the bowl on the floor.

I grabbed a lemon, cut it into slices, and squeezed some of the juice into the tea.

When I finished taking out some excess leaves that slipped out of the tea strainer, I got the tea  and took it outside so I could give it to Antinous.

I just hoped he wasn't having a panic attack out there.
