I had no idea why I felt like I was going to go insane.
It was just a dream. Why in Gaia's name am I freaking out?
The breeze felt salty, but hey, I was on an island. Why wouldn't it be salty?
I figured that I'd have to get used to it, because chances are, I'll probably be stuck here forever, just like Calypso.
Speaking of Calypso, I'd promised her that I'd get her off the island somehow, but how was I going to do it?
I found a palm tree and sat down against it, letting my tiredness take over.
"Why do I feel anxious about a woman I just met? How come I didn't feel this with Penelope?" I asked myself.
A sudden noise made me spin around. I wasn't alone.
"Who's there?" I shouted.
"Don't panic, it's just me. Here, I made you some tea to reduce your anxiety." Calypso replied.
I felt foolish for getting scared, but I took the tea anyway.
As I took a sip, I could literally feel my worries slipping away.
"Do you feel better now?" she asked me.
"Yes, I guess you could say so." I responded.
I proceeded to drink more of the tea, feeling less paranoid with every sip.
I had never drunk something like this before, but then again, she was a goddess, so of course her tea was good.
"How did you make this?" I inquired.
"Oh, I used lemon balm, peppermint, and some lemon juice." she answered.
I nodded in response, then finished my tea.
"So, why are you not allowed off the island?" I asked.
"Well, I sided with the Titans during the war against the Olympians, but we lost, so the Olympians banished me to this island." she explained.
"Oh, I'm sorry." I uttered.
"Don't be. It was a foolish reason to banish me, but whatever." she said.
I felt sorry for her. Nobody deserves what she went through, even if they sided with the losers.
And trust me when I say that I know what it's like to be a loser.
