Bro's Before Hoe's (MidnightGarden) ???

I swore I was about to strangle them both. Astro looked the same. I could tell he was conjuring up some nasty nightmare ideas for them. 

"Actually, Vee, Dandy and I were just planting flowers in the greenhouse," Astro said firmly.

"Anyways, have you both seen Sprout," I asked.

"Ha! I told you! Dandy wants to see Sprout since he misses his boyfriend!" Shelly exclaimed, nudging Vee's shoulder and laughing at her, in which made Vee grumble and rolled her eyes.

"Goddamn, you two, I'm just asking a question!" I yelled, but before I could even say more Sprout came running to us with a smile on his face.

"Hiii!!!" he stood aside us and put a hand up, starting to pant since he ran out of breath. Astro and I frowned, wondering what the fuck was up with him. Sprout was usually happy, but he seemed a lot more excited than we expected. 

"You seem to be in a good mood," Astro asked, "what's up?"

"Oh, nothing much," Sprout replied with a smug smile and then grabbed both me and Astro by the shoulders on either side of him, "just excited for our sleepover tonight!"

"Our what?" Astro and I asked at the same time. Vee and Shelly exchanged glances between each other as well, Sprout had the entire room confused after all.

"Surprise!" he exclaimed, letting go of me and Astro and crossing his arms smugly, "for our day off, I planned a super awesome sleepover party for just us guys!"

"Just the guys?" Vee asked, her gaze squinting on Sprout then looking back at Shelly. Oh, shit they must've connected the dots by now.

"Yep, sorry ladies, you have fun on a girl's night or whatever," Sprout said, waving his hand at them dismissively as a clear joke since he had a smile on his face. Astro seemed to be intrigued by the idea of a sleepover.

"I'm not complaining, I like sleepovers," Astro said, "is that why you were busy today?"

"Oh yeah, and there's a lot more...I made lots of plans. You better come to my room or else I'm going to train an army of pigeons to eat you alive at night."

"Fine," I said, scoffing, "we'll come, only because I want a break from Vee."

Vee's jaw dropped and Shelly started to crack up in laughter. Sprout on the other hand started to cheer, I was glad I could make him happy. Plus, I really did want to hang out with both of them, it sounded like a lot of fun to me. 

"I've already got everything you need for the sleepover, so don't you worry your pretty little heads! Now come-on!" 

Before Astro and I could even ask what that meant he already dragged us by the arms (or Astro's blanket in that case) and ran to his room. I heard Vee yelling at us as we left:

"Don't break the bed!"

Yeah, this break would be MUCH needed.

Once we got to Sprout's room I must say I was impressed. He had a small table full of all of our favorite snacks and drinks, and two gifts sitting on the bed which he had made and cleaned. Normally, Sprout's room was a mess, but it was nice like this. He had card games, video games, and movies set out for us as well. 

"Ta-da!" He exclaimed. Astro was also staring in awe at the sight, none of us really expected this nice surprise from Sprout. Astro smiled and giggled, turning to face Sprout.

"Wow, I've never seen you clean your room so well without getting Tisha to help."

"Yeah," Sprout said, "but I had a good reason to clean this time."
