It's been a month now since my stay at STAR Labs. I realize I was unconscious for more than nine months. Ever since the day I ran from STAR Labs, I realized I have time manipulation. I don't know how I got it, though.
I've had a total of four meltdowns, where I accidentally slowed time down, and stopped it. It was terrifying.
Until now. I finally learned to control some of it. Some, not all of it.
I don't understand how I can go from being totally normal, having a decent life, to this. It is actually kind of terrible. I had to quit my job as the assistant science teacher at the high school. I basically locked myself away from the outside world, until last night.
Last night I went on my fourth night visit to a site. It was also the fourth time I had seen the Flash. When I was there, I helped him take out some weird guy with powers. I honestly don't know what happened. I just stopped time, and wrapped my arms around this guy so the Flash could grab him.
*FLASHBACK*
"You're... The Flash." I state, standing next to him. This is the first time I have actually spoke to him.
"So I heard." He says. I shrug and look back out at the city, unfazed by his appearance at the bomb site. He usually shows up at the scenes anyways. "So you're the Time Turner?"
"That's me." I say chuckling.
"You're fast." He says looking away from me, and at the police officers.
"Actually, I'm just as fast as the average person... Time is just slow." I smirk.
"Intresting..."
"Yeah call it 'un-superspeed' if you'd like." I mumble and he laughs. "Well, I better go. I have a feeling I'll be seeing you again."
"Yeah, I have that feeling too. Stay safe."
"You too, speedy."
*END OF FLASHBACK*
I guess that really made me want to go back to STAR Labs where I woke up. I want to know why I was there. I want to know why they took care of me. I am so clueless on everything right now.
Most of all I just want to know why I have fucking powers.
I just want to go back to STAR Labs and meet the people who took care of me. I missed out on a lot of things being asleep for nine months. So I decided I would catch up.
I pull out my laptop, and search the news from the first day I was asleep. It read...
" S.T.A.R Labs: Enemy or Savior?
"The particle accelerator was designed by Harrison Wells to power all of with clean energy, however when they (meaning S.T.A.R Labs) turned it on, something went horribly wrong, and the particle accelerator exploded, sending a huge shock-wave in to the clouds and through the entire city. It also created a lightning storm above the Central City Police Department. The incident also caused the lost of seventeen people and injured countless more. In the aftermath of the event, The Particle Accelerator created and gave birth to Metahumans and the most well known being The Flash. Even though lives were lost, and injuries were caused, It provided us with Central City's The Flash."
After I read that, I read many more articles on more recent occurrences.
"The Rise Of The Pied Piper.
"Pied Piper, Angry for what happen to his hearing and wanting revenge on Harrison Wells he develops and builds Sonic Wave Weaponry to help him in his revenge plans. Before returning to Central City he tried calling his parents wanting to talk with them however they refuse to take his call and didn't want to talk him. His first target in his revenge plan against Harrison Wells is his new protege The Flash."
Metahumans?
Am I one of those?
I finished that article, and read a few others until I decided I was all caught up. That took me about an hour. Then when I finished I put my laptop away in my backpack. I slip on my converse, and pull on a hoodie. I grab my backpack race out the door.
I run out to my garage, put on my helmet, and hop onto my bike before racing off to STAR Labs.
