Running Out of Time {Barry Allen/The Flash}

I slowly walk into STAR Labs, into the room with everybody else. I look at Wells before greeting him with a smile, then I glance over and see Barry. I quickly look away, my mind drifting to the thoughts I had a week ago.

I had developed feelings for the Scarlet Speedster.

I quickly, and nervously shake off my thoughts. I look around again before speaking.

"Guess what." I say.

"Chicken butt." Cisco replies back.

"Nah, I have-" Then I hear people's feet stomp into the room. I slowly turn around and am greeted by Team Arrow. "Oliver." I smile as a greeting.

"Katie." He says with a smile as well.

"It's Katheryn, you know that." I say, giving him another smile as I pat his shoulder. I look away and over to Felicity.

"Hi!" I say, giving her a quick hug. "Long time no see." I mumble aloud.

"I know, well almost a year!" She says, hugging me once more. I finally let go to see a few other people.

"Who may you be?" I ask the younger man in a red hoodie. I raise an eyebrow at his hesitation.

"Uh, Roy Harper." He says and I smile before holding my hand out for him to shake. He takes it with a smile, and shakes my hand.

"Katheryn Brown, aka: Time Turner." I say, and let go of his hand, "Firm grip." Then I look past him at another man.

"Diggle, my man! Whoa... Who's that?" I ask as the baby in his hands rests against his shoulder.

"Sara." He replies with a smile on his face. I walk up to her.

"Aww, cute!" I yell out, petting her head. "I want one!" I cheer.

"She's sleeping." Diggle whispers and I shut up right away.

"Sorry, sorry." I mumble before walking away. "So, I'm guessing you guys aren't here to party... What's going on here?" I ask.

"We're here for a party." Roy says aloud.

"Oh right." I smile at him, and I glance over at Barry who walks in.

"No, we're here because we need help." Felicity says quick. I suddenly just burst out laughing.

"Again? Okay." I say, with a smirk on my face.

"It's not-" Oliver starts, but I cut him off.

"No, no. I can help." I smile, and I see Roy laughing.

"We need Barry too." Felicity says.

"So what's going on?"

"A drug deal with Vertigo in Central City." Oliver says.

"Again?" I ask, "That already happened." I say.

"Not in Central City." Oliver replies.

"So why'd you need our help?" Barry asks, "You've done it before."

"But this time it's with metahumans." Felicity says before she hops onto our computers.

"It's happening tonight?!" I yell out. "Oh, my- shit." I stomp my foot on the ground.

"Dude, calm down." Cisco says. I ignore him and look to Oliver.

"We need teams." Oliver starts, "Felicity, who's with who?"

"I figured we could have two teams, with a metahuman- Barry and Katheryn- on each teams."

"Okay, Roy you're with Katheryn. Barry you're with me." Oliver says.

"Why don't I get to be on your team?" I ask Oliver.

"Because you have done this more than Barry has, and we need somebody with experience on each side." He replies back, with almost a smirk on his face. That little-

"Cool." Roy says, and I smile at him. "I get the one who can control time." He says.

"Yeah, and I get the strong one." I say.

"How'd you-" Roy starts but I cut him off.

"I know things, Roy."

"How many times do I have to explain this?" I ask the baby that I hold in my hands. "You smile when I say something funny."

"She's just a baby." Barry says, and everybody else laughs.

"Yes, but babies need to learn sometime. She just stares at me, and It's scary." I say, with a grin. 

"It's starting!" Felicity says as she jumps up from the computer, making Caitlin flinch. 

"Go get ready." Wells says. I run off as everybody goes their separate ways. I grab my suit out of it's case before bringing it to the bathroom. I throw it on before walking out.

"Let's do this shit."
