Running Out of Time {Barry Allen/The Flash}

"Do you have a place to stay?" I ask Johnny. It's been over a week since Johnny came to town. Earlier, when he was out, the hotel room he was staying in was attacked. So, I will force him to stay with me now, because I can't have him get hurt.

"No." He says almost shamefully.

"Okay, that's fine. You can stay at my place." I smirk as I walk off.

I let Johnny walk in first before I do. I throw my bag on the couch when my phone rings. I look down at my phone to see I got a message from Barry.

Barry Allen:
Hey

I smile to myself as I text back a response.

Me:
Bored already?

I wait a second before I get an answer. I don't open my message right away. I walk to my freezer and grab a bag of tater tots. "You wanna cook these?" I ask Johnny.

"Yeah? Who you texting?" He asks. I look down at my phone before opening the message.

"Someone."

Barry Allen:
A little, yeah. Is it weird that I kinda miss you?

Me:
Not really, but I saw u like an hour ago... R u flirting?

I smirk to myself because I can practically see the smile on his face.

Barry Allen:
Maybe☺️

Then, I hear a big crash. I quickly shove my phone I my pocket. "Johnathan?" I yell as I walk into the kitchen.

"I'm good. I just dropped the baking pan." He blushes. I let out a sigh of relief. Then I hear another crash. I look right at him, and his smile drops.

"Who's there? Barry, is that you?" I ask but down get a response. I turn around, looking to Johnny. "Get up to my room." I whisper to him. He scurries off, and up the stairs. I take a few steps out of my kitchen, and towards the door. I peek out before I am attacked from behind. Hands are wrapped around my neck, and I gasp for air.

"Where's the man- Johnathan?" The man who stands behind me asks.

"Can't t-tell you." I spit out before I hear stomping down the stairs. I glance over to see Johnny running down the stairs with a bat in his hands. The men drop me b fore running up to Johnny. They grab him by the shoulders. "Don't touch him!" I yell aloud with anger rushing through my veins. I slow time as I run up to the man. I take his head in my hands, when I go to kill him, but instead he starts to shrivel up. I feel the power flow through my hands and soon he turns to dust.

Did I just kill him?

I run up behind the next man, and I grab his head. I do the same again. I push the power through my hands, and into his body. He starts to shrivel up, getting old, before he turns to a pile of dust. I grab Johnny's hand, but he quickly pulls away.

"Where are you taking me?" He asks with fear laced in his voice.

"I won't hurt you, Johnny." I say before slowing down time. I grab his arm and I run out of my apartment.

"Barry! Wells! Someone!" I yell as I drop Johnny to the floor. They all come rushing in, including Barry who speeds in. He rushes to my side, grabbing my arm. "No! Get away. I'll hurt you..." I say whispering the last part. His face turns to hurt and he steps away. I look away, grabbing my face. I feel as the tears start pouring out onto my cheeks.

"What happened?" Wells asks.

"We were attacked and... And Katheryn is t-the Time Turner." Johnny says, "Oh god. She's the Time Turner..." He says trailing off.

"Katheryn, what happened?" Wells asks.

"I don't know! I sucked the life from a man!" I yell out before I stand up.

"How?" Wells asks.

"I-I touched him. His head." I mumble.

"You took his time away..." Wells says, "You know what we can do with that?" Wells says with a smile. "That is amazing."

"She's the Time Turner." I hear Johnny mumble, but we all ignore him.

"Amazing?! I killed by touching him! Now I'm afraid to touch anybody!" I yell out. "Now I have nowhere to stay..."

"Thanks, Barry, for letting us stay at your place." I say to him.

"It's no problem, really." He smiles. I step forward to give him a hug, but then I remember I can't.

"I'm sorry, Barry." I say.

"You won't do anything to me." He starts. "Give me a hug." He says seriously.

"No!" I say louder than before as I step back.

"You won't hurt me." He says while he holds his arms open. Then, in a split second, he grabs my arms and wraps them around his neck. The he wraps his arms around my waist, pulling me in close. "Look."

"Barry." I say, slowly moving my head up to look at him.

"Katheryn." He smiles and I can't help but smile back.

"Thank you." I say as we slowly start moving in. He leaned in closer to me than he had ever been before. He cupped my face in both hands and let his soft lips brush against mine. Then I leaned in all the way and drew him into a long passionate kiss.

Then Johnny busts into the room. "What the hell?!" Johnny yells before storming off.
