Running Out of Time {Barry Allen/The Flash}

Plot: Barry and Katheryn switch bodies because of a certain metahuman.

A/N: I took this idea from a oneshot I made. XD

I sit by the treadmill, watching Barry work on his running.

"That's fast," I say in amazement. "This... This is the fastest you've ever ran," I smile. I stand up from the ground. "Cisco!" I call him in here. I get no response. "I'll be right back, babe," I say before walking off. I find Cisco running from the medical room to the computers.

"Metahuman alert," he states as he throws himself into the chair before sliding to his computer. "Get Barry and suit up," Cisco demands before I rush off. I slow time before walking off. I tell Barry before changing.

I run beside Barry. I watch as he does it easily but I struggle to gain my breath. We make it to where the metahuman is. Barry skids to a stop and I slow down. I bend over, hands on knees as I try to catch my breath.

"Well, well, well... The Flash and... Who are you?"

"Time Turner," I scoff. I take a step forward. Then before I know it, he throws a punch. I dodge it and run around him with time slow.

"Well, if I'm never going to win we should make this fun," he says aloud. Then a ball of purple particles emerges from his hands. "Let's switch," he smiles. He says before he throws the ball of purple particles at Barry and I.

Then in a split second, I open my eyes and I just moved over to the right.

"Bye, bye," the man says. I look around, confused about what happened. I look to my left to see... Me? I look down at myself to see Barry. I look back at my standing body.

"You're me," my body says.

"I'm you," I say in shock, and just now noticing I have a male voice.

"Katheryn," Barry says through my voice. "Y-You're- I'm... My body is getting pale," the body that is mine says.

My vision blurs before I slump to the ground.

My eyes flutter open. "God what happened?" I question before hearing
the words being spoken. "Oh my-"

"Hey, hey," I hear my voice. I look around the room to see my body. "We switched bodies, remember?"

"Oh, damn. Holy shit, Barry. That's bad," I blink. He laughs and Cisco comes walking in with Oliver, Felicity and Caitin. I groan. "Great, tell the whole world," I snap.

"I've never heard that rude of a voice come out of Barry's mouth," Caitlin mutters.

"Ha-ha," Barry says through my voice.

"Wait, Katheryn is in Barry's body-"

"Hey," I wave with what I hope is a smirk.

"And Barry is trapped in Katheryn's body? How?" Oliver asks.

"Some metahuman," I state.

"What was that? Why'd you let him get away?" Cisco blames Barry and I.

"Well, we couldn't help that we switched bodies!" I shout only for it to come out in a male voice. I am going to have to get used to that.
