I tried concentrating again and after awhile the skies got dark and cloudy. Lightning entered the skies. Then I heard thunder, I got a little scared. I turned to Nico, he looked horrified
“Nico! What’s wrong?' I said. I decided to look around if there was something wrong. Then I saw that everyone in the red team that was close to us had been struck by lightning.
"Oh my gods did I do that?" I asked him “Are they still alive?”
"Yes, you did that." He said "And yeah I’m sure they are."
"Oh yeah, I can't believe you can you can raise skeleton warriors.” I told him
"Fine then see for yourself." He said
Then the ground beside us shook and opened up. One by one 20 skeleton warriors rose from the ground. They were fully armed with weapons.
"Attack all members of the red team. Try not to kill them though." Nico commanded
At once they left and started to attack some campers of the red team.
"Di Angelo you've got to be kidding me." I told him " We're those really skeletons or was I hallucinating?"
"Yeah you were hallucinating" He said
I playfully punched his arm.
"Oww, okay it was real. Now let’s start finding the red flag." He grabbed my hand. At first, I was shocked since he told me awhile ago that he didn’t like to be touched.
We continued to look for the flag. After awhile we found Percy. We decided to ask him if he’s seen the flag.
"Hey Perce! Have you seen the flag?” Nico asked
"Yeah it’s beside the river over there." He pointed “Though it’s heavily guarded.”
We decided to split up and attack the campers who were guarding the flag.
One of the campers of the red team caught me and carried me to their base.
"Nico, Help!!!" I yelled. Percy and he were almost crossing the river.
He left Percy and pushed the guy that carried me. I fell to the ground. I got my necklace and took the pendant. It reformed as a lightning bolt in my hand. The sizzling bolt tickled my skin. I tried to hit the guy but I missed. Instead it landed on a branch of a tree. The branch split in half and it fell on Annabeth's head. Percy saw what had happened and immediately brought Annabeth to the base of the red team.
"What happened to her?" a daughter of Aphrodite asked
"She got hit by the branch. Take her to the infirmary." Percy answered
When she left Leo and Piper grabbed Percy by the shirt.
"You're our prisoner now!!" Leo grinned
"Hey that's unfair. If i didn't bring Annabeth to the base something could've happened to her."
Awww! Percy that so sweet but rules are rules." Piper replied
Some of the campers in the red team attacked Nico and I. Nico gashed the cheek of some guy while I hit some Aphrodite girl in the face with my shield.
"Nice job!" Nico complimented
"Thanks”
“Let’s go back to the base. I think I saw Ella awhile ago.”
I nodded and we ran back to our base.
Then Chiron came with a megaphone
"Capture the Flag is over. The winner is the red team." He said
Ella went to me and asked what had happened. I decided to tell her everything from the start.
"So you mean if Annabeth didn't hit her head we could've won?" she asked
I nodded my head
Then Percy went up to me angrily and said
"If you hadn't used that stupid lightning bolt, Annabeth wouldn't have hit he head. This is all your fault.” Percy’s face was red with anger.
“Wait so you're blaming my friend for all of this. How dare you! If you hadn't saved your girlfriend we would've won!” Ella yelled
"All you care about is the game!" Percy yelled back
A gigantic wall of water appeared beside Percy.
"We'll she just your girlfriend. If a branch of a tree hits you, you don't die right away right?" Ella rolled her eyes
"Why did I ever get a sister like you? I bet you're not really my sister!"
"Oh really!" Ella argued and a trident made out of water appeared on her side.
They were about to drown themselves in water when I electrocuted them.
"Cool! You're just like Thalia! At least you didn't burn Percy like she did." Annabeth told me
"Why are you here? Aren't you supposed to be in the infirmary?" I asked her "Who's Thalia?"
“It was only a bump. Thalia's a daughter of Zeus like you but she joined the Hunter of Artemis." she replied
"Sorry about the bump." I told her
"Its fine" she answered
After a while Percy and Ella had began to get their consciousness back. They were about to start arguing again but Annabeth went up to Percy and gave him a hug.
"I can't believe you really thought I was badly injured Seaweed Brain." she said and hugged him tighter
Percy didn't answer back but by the looks of it he was embarrassed
Then Chiron went up to them and handed Annabeth her duffel bag and blueprints.
"It is time for you to go to Olympus. Athena is waiting for you. Have a safe trip, Annabeth"
Then Leo yelled "Group Hug!!"
All of us began hugging Annabeth
"Careful you don't wanna squash the girl who’ll redesign Olympus do you?" Percy said
"I'll miss you Percy!" Annabeth kissed him
