After we Iris Messaged Tabitha we left the hotel. While we were walking we found an old abandoned gray truck. It had a letter stuck in its wind shields.

"Today is Thursday right?" Calliste asked
"I think so." Grover replied "We've been stuck in that place for days that I forgot what day it is."
"Why don't we go to dad's place today and we go to Olympus tomorrow." I suggested
"You think dad would kidnap Persephone?" Percy shot a death glare at me
I rolled my eyes
After Percy and I's argument we decided to go to dad's palace. We drove to a nearby lake. Thankfully there wasn't any people nearby. Percy and I dove in the water first followed by Nico and Grover. Calliste was scared of getting in the water. Every time she tries to go in the water pushes her in and tries to drown her.
"Guys I'm just wasting your time. I can't swim." Calliste said
"We're not going if you won't." I told her
"Can I talk to 3 of you first?" Nico told Percy, Grover and I
"Ok fine" I told him "What's your plan?"
"You guys can make underwater breathing bubbles right?" He asked me and Percy
We nodded in unison.
"Percy why don't you lead Grover to your Dad's Palace while Ella will wait for me and Calliste. I'll talk out of it." Nico told us
"Why can you charm speak Death Breath?" I asked Nico. Grover and Percy chuckled.
"No just trust me in this one Sea Bird." He replied
I rolled my eyes "Ok then make it quick."
Percy, Grover and I dove in the water. Percy and Grover went in deeper while I waited for Calliste and Nico.
"Calliste are you sure you don't want to join us?" I could hear Nico say to Calliste
"Yeah I'm sure that thing is gonna drown me." She pointed at the water
I know why she didn't like being in the water. It was Poseidon's domain. Percy doesn't like air travel because it was Zeus' domain and he's pretty sure that one day he'll die by air travel.
"I won't let you drown. I promise." Nico held her hand. I could see a blush creeping at their cheeks. Hopefully by the end of this quest they'd be together.
"Promise?" Calliste asked
"Promise" Nico said and he gave his signal and I made a water bubble for both of them.
Then they both dove in the water.
After a few minutes of swimming, we reached dad's palace. It was one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen. It was made of colorful corals, phosphorescent moss covered the ceiling, bathing the room in a bluish glow.
Then a guy with dark hair and sea green eyes welcomed us. He looked a bit like Percy and he was holding a 3 foot trident. He must be dad I thought. I never saw dad in person, I ony see him in dreams and visions.
"Hello Ella and Percy!!!" He greeted as warmly.
"Hey dad! Do you know where Persephone is? Hades is suspecting that you might've kidnapped her." Percy said
"Why would he think that I've kidnapped Persephone? If I was crazy then maybe I would" Poseidon replied
Then a woman appeared. She had flowing dark hair adorned with sea shells. Her eyes would've been beautiful if not for her icy stare.
"Amphitrite please serve them some food and help them with their need." Poseidon said and vanished into thin air.
"As you wish, my lord." she replied then she turned to us "Follow me to the Pavillion where we shall have food." she said coldly
I gulped. At least she was better than having Hera as a stepmother. Suddenly I feel sorry for Calliste.
We followed her to the Pavilion . There we found a long table made of corals. It's table cloth was made of seaweed and adorned with shells. 2 mermen appeared carrying trays of food. Once it was placed in the table we all started digging in. I sniffed the abalone to see if it wasn't poisoned. I saw Percy enjoying his sea food cheese burger so I started eating. After a couple of bites we were stuffed. Then the food magically vanished and Poseidon appeared.
"Since you are having a quest to find Persephone, I think you should start going." He handed us 5 pearls so we could go to the surface safely.
I placed the pearl before my food and it expanded into a bubble. The others followed. Once we reached the surface the air bubble popped.
"This isn't the lake we left awhile ago." Nico aid
Indeed it wasn't. We were surrounded by large boats but the whole place was empty.
"This is the harbor closest to the Empire State Building." Percy said "But we have to walk around 5 miles to get there."
Calliste asked us if we were pulling her.
"Guys stop it. I'm serious." She yelled
Then a huge slimy tentacle grabbed her. Percy uncapped Riptide and cut off the arm of the monster. It shrilled in pain. Then it's whole body appeared. It looked like a massive squid. It's eye was so huge that it could fit hundreds of eyes into it. It had 10 tentacles. Since Percy chopped one off there were 9 left.
"Kraken!!!" Grover yelled
The Kraken let go of Calliste and grabbed Grover. He hit the monster in its eye by using his reed pipes. It shrilled in pain but it didn't dropped Grover. Calliste shot a poisoned arrow at it. Nico unsheathed his black Stygian sword and tried to chop off its tentacles. One of its ugly porous arms was about to grab me too then I remembered I still had the knife so I pierced the Kraken.
"Guys a little help here." Grover waved. Calliste flew to rescue him.
"Whoa she looks like super girl." I said aloud
"Go Sparky's little sister!!" Percy cheered
The Kraken tackled Calliste but she didn't fall. Instead she was able to cut 2 tentacles. The Kraken dropped Grover
"Nico can you go with Calliste? Try to aim for the eye." Percy ordered. I could see a blush creeping from Nico's face.
Nico held Calliste's hand and up they went.
Nico slashed his sword at the head of the Kraken. It cried in pain. Calliste shot a burning arrow. It hit the eye of the Kraken perfectly. The monster disintegrated into dust.
"Good job!!" I hugged her
"Thanks" she hugged back
