Chapter Twenty-One:

*time skip*

I laughed and jumped around the tour bus.

"Woah, Dani calm down," Luke laughed from the couch.

"I can't calm down now! I no longer have to walk around with those stupid crutches slowing me down!" I laughed, flopping down next to him on the couch.

"Fair enough. Now you mind telling me what happened between you and Calum after Jimmy Fallon last week that made you two act like giddy teenagers?" Luke raised his eyebrow.

"You can dream about it, Penguin," I laughed, poking his nose. "There's no way you're getting it out of either of us."

Luke groaned making me laugh again, "When are they coming back with our food?"

Luke shrugged, "I don't know. They probably got mobbed by fans."

"I still don't understand why I couldn't go get the food for us," I sighed.

"Because, I had to take you the doctor to get your brace off and turn in your crutches. Plus all the fans know who you are now, there's no telling if you would get mobbed or not," Luke explained, wrapping his arm around my shoulders in a brotherly way.

"Well, maybe I should change up my look. I mean, I am getting tired of this boring hair color," I smirked, lifting up a piece of my hair.

"What are you thinking of in that master mind brain of yours?"

"You'll just have to wait and see," I smiled and stood up, "Come on, we've got something to do. Don't forget to text the guys telling them that we're stepping out."

"Got it," Luke nodded.

I pulled out my phone and decided to send a text the Calum, knowing that Luke would be forgetting to do it even though I just told him about it.

Danisaurus: "Luke and I are heading out of the bus to run an errand so we might not be there when you get back."

It took a few seconds before I got a reply from him.

Kangaroo Cal: "Alright. We might be awhile, we got caught up in a group of fans."

I smiled to myself and sent him a quick reply before putting my phone in my back pocket.

Danisaurus: "Be careful Cal, x."

Luke and I walked out of the bus and headed for town. Luke had forced me to wear a hoodie a hat and some sun glasses to avoided being noticed. He had done the same, though I didn't see the point. With him looking like a freaking giraffe he was sure to be noticed by someone.

"Dude, your like a freaking stick bug. People are going to notice you," I rolled my eyes as we continued walking down the sidewalk.

"Okay one, I don't know what the heck a stick bug is and two, it's always worth the try," Luke shrugged. "Now, do you mind telling me where we're going?"

"You'll see," I said simply.

Within a few minutes I came across the place I was looking for. I had used google maps to direct me to the nearest hair salon so I could change up my look.

"A hair salon?" He raised his eyebrows.

"Yep. Now come on. We don't have all day," I grabbed his hand and dragged him inside.

"Hi what can I do for you today?"

"Hello. I know I haven't set up an appointment, but I would like to change up my hair," I pulled off the hat and the hood of the hoodie, revealing my long hair.

"Well lucky for you, we aren't very busy," the woman smiled and started to walk off toward the salon part.

"Stay here," I pointed at Luke and walked after the lady.

"So what do you want to  do with your hair today?" She asked, placing a hair apron around my neck.

"I was hoping to get it dyed a different color. But just my tips."

"And what color would you like ma'am?"

"Surprise me," I shrugged and leaned back into the sink.

. . .

"Oh my god! I love it!" I smiled, shaking it over my shoulder. I hadn't really expected what she did but it looked amazing. I picked up a piece of the new colorful hair I had and smiled.

"Well I would hope so," the woman laughed.

I grabbed my wallet and pulled out several twenties, "Here. Keep the change."

"Oh you don't have to do that."

"But I want to," I smiled and waved goodbye before walking out to where Luke was.

I laughed a little to myself when I noticed that he had fallen asleep in the waiting room. I shook his shoulder causing him to wake with a jolt.

"What! Who! Penguin!"

I laughed, "Come on Luke. We've got to get back to the bus."

"Woah, your hair looks-," he pointed at it.

"I know. Now lets go," I shook my head and laughed helping him up from what seemed to be an uncomfortable position.
