Chapter Twenty-Three:
*last day*
"Okay, I think I've got everything," I sighed, zipping up my suitcase.
"We're going to miss you," Ashton spoke from the living area.
It was the last day and I would be back home. The guys would be heading back to Australia but they said that they would be coming back to Los Angeles soon.
It felt odd to have to say goodbye to them. I mean, I've become close friends with each of them. Some closer than other -- *clears throat* Calum -- and I don't really want to leave them.
"I don't want you to leave!" Luke screamed.
I grunted and moved forward a little bit before looking down and seeing Luke hugging my leg tightly.
"Luke let go," I said plainly, not even bothering with trying to kick him off, knowing that it would just be a major waste of energy.
I felt another force knock me forward a little bit and I could tell without looking that it was Michael.
"Both of you get the hell off of me before I rip out your hair," I crossed my arms.
Mikey screamed before letting go and shuffling away quickly, "You wouldn't."
I rubbed my hands together and made a grabby motion at him, "I would."
"She would," Calum laughed walking out of the bathroom with his hair damp from just taking a shower.
"Cal, can you get this one off of me please?" I asked looking up at him with my puppy dog eyes.
"Of course," he bent down and whispered something in Luke's ear making him shoot up and scramble away quickly.
"Ashton hold me!" Luke screamed and crawled onto his lap. I smiled and pulled out my phone, snapping a picture of the two knowing that Max would love to have it hanging up in her room.
Since the other three dorks seemed to be occupied, Calum grabbed my hand and walked back into the bathroom.
"I'm really going to miss you," Calum hugged me close. I hugged him back and cuddled into his chest nodding.
"I'm going to miss you too," I sighed, sniffling slightly. (Random A/N: THis DOeS NoT HelP ThAT IM LiSTEninG TO AmNEsIA RIGHT NOw!)
I pulled away slightly and looked up at Calum as he looked down at me. I stood up on my tiptoes and pecked him on the lips with a soft smile on mine. A small smile appeared on his as he copied my actions. I giggled softly and leaned my head against his chest.
"Why did we have to fall for eachother right before tour ended?" I sighed, with another sniffle.
"Hey, listen to me," Calum lifted my head, making me look him in the eyes. "We'll make it work okay? I'll be back in a few months and we'll be able to see eachother. Okay?"
"But-"
"No buts Danielle," Calum shook his head. "Just us."
I smiled softly as he leaned his head down and connected our lips once more. This was a lot longer than the quick pecks we had managed to sneak with the others around. It was soft, and slow. A perfect goodbye kiss since we wouldn't be able to show this sort of affection at the airport.
When we pulled away, Calum like my cheek, "You shouldn't be crying. You're too beautiful to cry Dani."
I let out a highly unattractive snort making Calum laugh loudly, "I'm just going to miss you."
"Hey, lets not be sad saps. Let's just enjoy what we have now," Calum smiled, pecking me on the forehead before opening the bathroom door and leading me out. It seemed that the other boys hadn't even noticed that we had disappeared so that was good I guess.
"Three hours until we head off to different places," I sighed, setting my phone on my lap slowly.
"Yeah," the boys sighed, going silent.
We really didn't want to leave.
A/N:
So... this book is pretty short and coming to an end soon.
Don't worry though. I'm planning on doing a sequel.
