The Elementalists

Death chuckled evilly to himself. He finally gained the power of the elements. Fire, darkness, water, ice, wind, nature, light, earth. All at his command. He dreamed about this day. He raised his hands and began to circle them with one another. The elements responded, fusing with each other until it turned into a giant rainbow colored ball. Death then pointed his index finger and the ball was sent flying to Earth. As it flew away, Death smiled at his work.

What Death didn't know that all us humans ( well, the people in Halifax Nova Scotia anyway) knew that a bomb of some sort was gonna hit us. So, a scientist called every person in the city for a meeting in the park.

"Citizens," he announced. "A bomb is coming towards Earth and shall destroy us. But there is hope. We have found a planet we call Paradise that can sustain life. We have built a rocket, which is safe and already knows where to go, to carry four children into space. We have chosen children because we want them to carry on the human race. We already have the children we want to go and I will now show you a hologram of each of them."

He pulled a disk from his pocket and threw it on the ground. An image of a boy appeared. He had fiery red hairy which was spiked all over the place. He had a orange vest over his black tee which was went down just past his belly button. His light brown pants were baggy and were packed into his black boots.

"This is Blaze," the scientist said. "He is seven and the oldest of the children. He is the one to make sure everyone is okay. Even at seven he understands the situation perfectly. He knows a bomb is coming and that the world is ending and is glad that he gets to carry on the human race."

The scientist then pointed a remote at the hologram and swiped it. Now it showed a picture a little toddler. He was wearing a black tee shirt (which was big and went down to his ankles) and had black messy hair.

"This is George. He is three and barley even knows his own name. He was picked because he is you g and can learn so many new things and pick up on things faster at Paradise."

"Now, this is Jasmine," The scientist said changing the picture. It showed a picture of a girl with long green hair, in a pink dress and green shoes.

"She was picked so there is a girl with them and also to help Blaze out because she is the second oldest. At the moment she is six."

He once more swiped a picture to another girl. This one had long blue hair, she wore a blue long sleeved shirt, blue jeans with blue sneakers.

"This is Sapphire. She was chosen for another girl, to help out Blaze and Jasmine and she is also a fast learner and adapter for a five year old."

"Well, that's it. Now we send them off."

The scientist loaded us into the rocket ship. Our families wept and said goodbye. Blaze was probably the most calm, just standing there with his arms crossed leaning against the shuttle. Our families out clothes in bags for our trip and a couple of our toys. Blaze secured us all in our seats, the. Buckled himself in. The door closed and we mentally said goodbye to Earth. The ship blasted off, and then we were gone.

But some woman didn't want herself and her child to die. You see, she was sorta crazy in a way (this time in was a benefit) so she knew that one day something like this would happen. So she spent almost all her life digging a bomb shelter really far underground. Then her and her son lived their. And then the bomb hit. It was just a rumble, then a white light covered the Earth, and everyone on the Earth was dead (or maybe not, we may find out in chapter 1 or 2). It was all ruins, sorta like a junkyard, except it was the whole world. But, now that the elements have been used they don't wanna go back to Death, so, they did a logical thing. They went into our bodies. Now we can control the elements. Well, that's how our story started. Hang on for the next chapter.
