I blinked my eyes open and found that I was laying on the ground near Spyke, who was still bleeding out. Wasting no time ran over to the boy and went to try to help him, but then pulled my hands away. He was an Elementalist, shouldn't he be healing like I did? As if on cue, his wounds started to close and his eyes fluttered open. I guess it took a lot before we were out down and out.

"Dark?" The boy muttered.

"Hey, how are you doing?" I asked.

"I... think I'm fine now."

"Do you still want to kill me?"

Spyke grinned and stood up, "Nah, it's not worth getting the snot beat out of me again."

It took a moment before I burst into laughter, with my new friend joining in. After all that, he could still make a joke. Ethan and him would get along well. Speaking of which...

"Spyke." I said.

"Yeah," He said smiling, but then saw my serious expression. "What is it?"

"Well, my plan was to find my friends and I still intend to do that. But now, I want to ask you if you'd want to come with me. You could join us, and help us defeat Death."

"I just tried to kill you, and now you want me to travel with you?"

I nodded, "Of course. You're powerful and dedicated to what you do. We need that on our team."

Spyke mulled over this. I didn't blame him. It was different than what he normally did. But eventually he answered, "Alright, I'll go with you. Consider me your personal sellsword."

"Huh. Alright, let's get going then."

He nodded and we started off. We'd lost an ally but now we gained a new one, and he had his Elemental weapon. I almost forgot I had to search for my own.

Not knowing where to go, we headed North. I wondered how the others would react to me bringing someone back. I hoped they wouldn't mind, especially taking in the fact of how strong he was. I guess I wouldn't know until we found them.

"So, Dark." Spyke said.

"Yeah, what's up?" I replied.

"Well I've noticed that you don't have any... well, anything on your body. No horns, tail or even fur."

"Yes... what are you getting at?"

"Well, it's obvious that you aren't from around here. So where did you come from?"

Funny, since I've been here nobody's asked where I came from. Did I tell him, or keep it a secret for now?

Then I shook the thought out of my head. Of course I tell him. There wasn't a reason not to, "I'm from a whole other planet called Earth."

The Elementalists eyes widened, "Another planet? H-how did you get here?!"

"Well, I guess that's a long story." I said, and began telling him of the events that had happened so far.

It took a while to explain, but after making sure I covered everything I gave him a moment to digest the information. It took a few minutes before he replied.

"So Death... he destroyed your planet and killed your family? All of your families?"

For some reason, I didn't think he'd focus on that but I answered all the same, "Yeah. Our group, well besides Ethan, never got the chance to grow up with our families. Not for a long time at least. We never got to really see what Earth was like, or what we could have been. Death took everything away from us and no matter what he'll pay."
