It has been one month since the day we found Ethan. Since the day we met up. Since the day we decided to get revenge against Death for destroying our planet.

Not much has happened from there. Ethan and Tom have been teaching me swordplay, as that's what i said I preferred. I was getting pretty good, though I still had a long ways to go before i was able to face Death himself. Tom pointed out that i was stronger because i was an elementalist, so that meant I could carry a larger blade than just a regular short sword. In the end i picked out a silver one and a half sword, something that was longer than a short sword but smaller than a long sword. I actually laughed because of how easy i could swing it.

Enough about me though. Today was the day we set out to find our Elemental Weapons. We were all excited, but of course, to ruin it for me, was Blaze.

"Hey there, loser," he said as we walked out of the town. "Remember, just because you don't have your elemental power awakened yet, doesn't mean you're less than us... Oh wait, it does, doesn't it." He laughed and just before he ran ahead of us, he shot a small fireball at my feet, causing my shoes to catch fire.

"Ow ow ow." I whined.

Sighing, Jasmine came over and sprayed some water at my feet, extinguishing them.

"Thanks." i muttered.

"I'm sorry Dark, i don't know why he's acting like that. It's just not like him."

"You don't need to apologize it's not you who's being the jerk."

"I know I know but still, I feel responsible for him, like he's my kid."

"I wouldn't want him as my kid." I joked.

Jasmine cuffed me upside the head.

"I know you don't get along but that a little rude don't you think?"

"Are you kidding? He just set my feet on fire and you say I'm being rude?"

"Well..yes."

I was about to respond but then Tom stopped us.

"Everyone," He said. "Do you see that forest in the distance?"
We all said yes.
"Aether and Nether are telling me they feel a strong energy radiating somewheres inside it. It could be an Elemental Weapon or somethimg else, either way we need to go check it out."

We all nodded in agreement and marched forward into the woods. Little did we know, something was watching us from afar.

As we walked through the forest I saw that Ethan was a little behind and his head was down. I slowed down a bit to catch up to him and see what was up.

"Hey, Ethan. Something wrong?" I asked.
"No, I'm fine." He replied. He seemed distant.
"Are you sure? Because I'm here to talk. This is all so crazy I know."
He ducked under a branch. "I guess I'm worried is all."
"Worried? Why?"
He took a deep breath before looking at me. "I'm worried about not being useful. You all have these awesome powers and I... I have nothing. I'm just some kid with a sword."
I stared at him. Is this really what he thought he was?
"Listen to me. You may not have powers but that doesn't mean you aren't useful. You're great with a sword and you're really smart too. You managed to find us right? With everyone having these powers there are bound to be fights between us and you will be the one to hold us together. Plus you know what Ethan?"
"What?" He questioned me.
"You're the last human in existence. Tom isn't human and the rest of us, being Elementalists, aren't fully human anymore. So you are the last human alive."
"Wow... You're right I am the last human. I didn't realize that."
"Exactly. Now come on, we slowed down let's catch up with the others."
