I didn’t answer back
Then a cloud nymph appeared and bowed at my father.
“Lord Hades, you are needed in the council.”
He nodded his head and looked at me with so much anger that I thought my soul was going to be sucked in his eyes.
“We will talk about this later.”
I nodded my head and follow him inside.
Dad sat on hos throne while I found a small chair given by a cloud nymph and sat.
Then Zeus announced “The council has decided that we shall vote to let Nico go back to camp or not.
The gods and goddesses murmured loudly. I tried to listen to what they were saying but all I got was death….killing….different
This is going to be fun
“Silence!” Zeus roared “The voting has begun.”
The gods formed a circle and started discussing my fate. Aphrodite and Hades had a glaring contest. While Apollo kept on whispering something to Artemis. Zeus cleared his throat and the gods stopped murmuring.
“We have decided to let Nico di Angelo die instead of letting him leave camp.”
My eyes leaped out of my face.
I have a party to attend!!! Can’t you just kill me tomorrow?
“Stop!” A familiar voice said. It was Percy’s dad Poseidon.
“Poseidon, you’re late. The council meeting started a few hours ago.” Zeus said angrily
“Brother, I’m sorry I was late for the council meeting but please let me vote to let the boy live or die.” Poseidon said “And I have the right to. After all I am an Olympian too.”
Zeus rolled his eyes and sighed
“Very well, make your decision.”
I crossed my fingers Poseidon please; please I’m begging you don’t kill me not today
“I want Nico di Angelo son of Hades to live and stay in Camp Half-Blood.” Poseidon said
“Nico di Angelo” Zeus spoke “is allowed to live”
“Yes!!” I jumped happily “Thank You Poseidon!!”
Then I saw the gods were giving weird faces at me so I cleared my throat and said: “I would like to thank the gods and goddesses who have voted for me. And for those that did not I shall prove to you that I am worthy of living a normal life in Camp Half Blood….”
“So Lord Zeus may I leave now?” I asked Zeus
“No, you and I still have to have a talk about that girl Caliso.” Dad said sternly
“Calliste!” Zeus thundered
Then Percy, Annabeth and Grover barged in.
“Sorry to interrupt your meeting lord Zeus but Nico has to go now.” Percy bowed.
“No! Nico will stay with me today!” Hades roared
“Hades! Let Nico have a life for once. If you will I’ll stop making your love life miserable.” Aphrodite said while looking at a mirror.
“But…”
Zeus interrupted him “Hades, let him go. I don’t want to argue with 3 more demigods.”
Hades rolled his eyes “Fine”
Grover grabbed my hand as we ran to the elevator.
“Is everything ready?” I asked Percy
