Sorry for the shortness, and the slight boringness.

Disclaimer: the Mentalist doesn't belong to an insane Jisbon fangirl.

Van Pelt's P.O.V.

I flex my fingers, ready to type something, or search something. There's nothing to do though. We're all kind of at a stand still. There wasn't a letter at Mr. Cortez's house. Mr. Donovan's house had the same level of success meaning zero.

"Who do you think did it?" Rigsby asks.

"I say Cortez. He's creepier." Cho monotonously replies.

"Yeah, I guess. What about you, Grace?" He turns to question me.

"Me? I don't have an opinion. I don't just think about who killed who. It's not a question of some random person. You're trying to guess who is cruel enough to take the life of another human. I don't guess about that stuff." I scold. He looks kind of dumbstruck.

"Well." says a voice from the couch. "I know who did it. But I'm not telling."

"Jane, seriously? Why not give us a hint, man." Rigsby protests.

"Nope." Jane answers.

"Come on."

"No."

"This isn't fair, you can't just not tell us!"

"Nopety nope no."

"Cho, aren't you behind me on this?" Rigsby questions, looking for support. Cho just silently gets up and walks in the other direction.

"...I'm not exactly positive. I just have several theories." Jane mentions.

"Don't say theory in front of Lisbon, she'll shoot you." I advise.

"I heard my name." Boss states, coming into the bullpen. She looks a lot better, luckily. She's lost the bags under her eyes. We may not be too close, but I do worry about her.

"Jane was just telling us about his theories." I tattle.

"Great." She mutters.

"Do we have any case news." Rigsby chimes in eagerly.

"Unfortunately, no." Lisbon responds. "Maybe if Jane would get up and help, we would." As an answer, Jane just yawns. Lisbon rolls her eyes, and walks away, leaving us to engage in in office game of trash can basketball.
