So, I'm a little stressed out because I have roughly 15 paragraphs due on Wednesday. So far, I'm about 1/2 through my third one. Oh. God. No.
Disclaimer: My Blue Heaven would be about a Jane/Lisbon sexy cruise vaca, if I owned the mentalist.

Jane's P.O.V.
I heard a feminine sounding-scream, and I frantically looked for the source. "That was Lisbon!" I shouted.
"Jane, where are you?" Cho called.
"Over by the river!" I yelled back. Rigsby bursts through the bushes, and Van Pelt is right behind him. Rigsby runs toward the scream, and I'm on his trail. He gets ahead of me, and soon disappears. I run to catch up, but he comes back towards me.
"It looks like she fell in the river!" he exclaimed. I turn around, and dash towards the river. I'm barely aware of the others. I look around the river for a trace of that familiar brown hair. I see nothing in the darkness. I run downstream, reaching an area where I'm closer to the water. I look around frantically, seeing nothing. I looks and look, and look. It's been about three minutes since that heart-wrenching scream, no one could hold their breath for that long.
The air suddenly feels a lot colder. I sit back on my heels, trying to get my mind to process the inevitable. After a few seconds of utter silence in my mind, chaos break out. I will find her. She isn't dead, she can't be dead. I never got to tell her what she means to me. I scan the water, trying to find that little detail. That's my specialty, I should be able to do this.
Suddenly, I see something touch the surface, then go back down. My breath hitches in my throat. Please let it be Lisbon. It's coming towards me. I reach my hands into the frigid river, and grasp the thing. I try as hard as I can to hoist it out of the water, soon realizing that it's not an it. It's a her. "Lisbon." I croak out, hoping that someone on the team hears me. Someone announces that they're calling an ambulance, but I don't listen. I drag her onto the land, and hold her in my arms. She coughs and a rush of water comes out of her mouth. Gasping, her panicked eyes look up at me. She takes several very fast, very deep breath. She then proceeds to black out right there in my arms. I hold her to me, trying to warm up her frigid limbs. If she survived almost drowning, she could still die from hypothermia. I regretfully let her go, only to take her soaking coat and blazer off, and give her my coat, wrapping her in it. I then pull her back into my arms, her face resting on my neck. I kiss the top off her head, and I notice the tears on my face. I feel the trace they leave down my face, and one splashes onto Lisbon's button nose. "Teresa. Please please wake up." I quietly beg, but with no response.
