H2O- Just Add Water Going Off Script

Groaning, Rikki rolled over onto her back. She stretched her arms suppressing a yawn, and started to sit up.

Next to her Emma and Cleo were doing the same thing. 

"Ugh....Why do I feel so sore?" Emma complained, massaging her neck. It felt like they had gotten a deep tissue massage. Like everything had been worked on, and rearranged in a different order. 

Rikki frowned. "Never mind that. What are we doing here?"

They were all laying on the beach at Mako Island, close the the treeline, so they were out of the tide. A small mercy at least. Sand was itching at their skin, somehow finding its way into every place imaginable.

Cleo stood up in a panic, and ran her hands through her hair. "My dads going to kill me!"

"Please," Rikki said rolling her eyes. "It can't be that late-" 

Her eyes widened as she saw the sun, positioned almost directly overhead. "Never mind. We're goners."

Emma was already wading into the water. She gestured for Cleo and Rikki to follow. "Well c'mon!"

The girls didn't waste any time. They immediately kicked it up to top speed and were on their way.

It wasn't long into the journey until they noticed something was different. Something to do with their tails. Concerned, Cleo motioned for Emma and Rikki to follow her into a cave.

The two girls looked at each other, shrugged, and followed Cleo inside. 

Cleo was struggling to stay calm, "Guys, maybe you should look at your...tails."

Rikki just about had a heart attack. Instead of seeing her pale orange tail, she saw a flaming red one, with dots of orange and yellow peeking out, making flame-like patterns. On her chest there was a red top styled with different colored seashells and coral. 

She looked over at Emma, and saw a light blue tail, with darker specks floating about like wandering snowflakes. Her top was made of a floaty sort of fabric and was pale blue with white and gold shells decorating it. But the changes didn't stop there. Emma's hair was now streaked with tints of color, streaks of blue accessorizing her long blonde hair.

Cleo was much the same. A new dark purple tail, with light swirls going through it like gusts of wind. Her purple top shimmered slightly, and was threaded with white pearls all throughout. Her dark hair had received a purple tint at the ends. 

"Ummm..." Rikki couldn't think of a more intelligent thing to say. Her brain was in overload. Because at that moment, the memories of what took place the night before, reappeared. She remembered everything, including the promise she gave to the moon.

All three girls turned to each other with horror struck faces, the same thought running through all of their minds. Without another word, they took off.
