H2O- Just Add Water Going Off Script

Emma flopped out of the water, and began running to Lewis's house. The two boys had become close, and were now often found around each other.

She barrelled through the front door, and ran to the garage. Luckily, Lewis's parents were out for the day, so they didn't see a missing girl sprint about their house.

Emma planted her feet in the doorway, trying to catch her breath.

Zane immediately stood up. "Emma?"

"It's time."

Both boys started scrambling around. Zane was surprisingly calm, gathering the basic supplies for his children. It was Lewis who was panicked, since he was the one who was to deliver the babies. Frantically, he checked and double checked to make sure everything was in place.

Emma groaned. "We don't have time for this! C'mon!"

Lewis packed his bag with renewed frenzy, and quickly followed Emma and Zane out the garage.

Hopefully they would make it in time.

"Breathe. That's it." Cleo soothed. Rikki's contractions were getting closer together, bringing the blonde to the point of tears.

Rikki hated tears, but in this case she couldn't seem to stop them. 

"God, I HATE THIS!" she screamed, bringing Cleo to the verge of a panic attack.

Luckily, Lewis arrived to save his girlfriend. 

He and Zane had come through the surface entrance, with several scrapes and bruises from scrabbling against the rock. Emma meanwhile, had come from the moon pool, and was dragging herself out.

Lewis started shaking at the sight of Rikki, his confidence in his abilities vanishing.

Fortunately for everyone involved, Zane didn't hesitate to slap Lewis across the face. A red handprint bloomed over Lewis' stunned face.

Zane gripped him by the shoulders. "Lewis, get it together."

Lewis' face hardened, and with a newfound determination began his work. 

"How many centimeters dialated is she?" he queried.

Sighing at everyone's blank look, he began prodding Rikki in the necessary places. Much to her and Zane's discomfort. But nobody protested.

"Okay Rikki, you're nine centimeters. Almost ready to push."

Rikki nodded weakly, gripping Zane's hand as another contraction rocked her.

For the next fifteen minutes, everyone was busy caring for Rikki, trying to soothe her through the pain. 

It was twenty minutes later, after a particularly painful contraction, that Lewis checked the dialation again.

"Ten centimeters." He gave Rikki a weak smile. "You're ready to push."

Rikki squeezed Zane's hand. "Ready?"

He nodded, smiling.
