I was watching from a spectating perspective. I saw Tyler and a woman in a dress standing at an outdoor wedding altar. I was elated; I was watching my wedding with Tyler. He flipped the veil covering the bride's face and all of my happiness faded. The bride was a blond haired, blue eyed beauty. Jenna. I tried looking away but it was as if I wasn't in control. Just before the kiss, I shot awake. I must have startled Kelly, because when I jumped up, she did too. "Y/n, what's wrong?"

"Nothing, it was just a dream..."

"If you say so. We're in Cleveland now and if my phone directions are correct, the music store is about five minutes away." I looked out my window and saw tall, run down looking buildings. We were definitely not in a good part of town.

A few minutes later, we pulled into the parking lot of the music store. It looked just like the one back home, only at least twice the size. I walked in and my jaw dropped. The entirety of the store was filled with various instruments and other music things like lesson books. I found an employee, a girl this time, and asked the same question. "Do you have ukuleles?" I was silently praying that they would.

"Yup, just follow me." She led me to a section that was mostly covered with guitars, but a small space had ukuleles.

"Thank you so much!"

"No problem. Just ask if you need any other help, just ask." She walked away and left me looking at the wall of ukuleles. Which one would he like? I couldn't decide between the red and black one and the floral one. I went with my gut and took the floral one down. I went to the counter to pay.

"Will this be it?" The cashier asked, I nodded. "Your total is 65.99." I paid with the money I saved from my birthday, and went back to the car.

"Kelly, do you have a sharpie?" She dug through her purse and handed me a black sharpie. I uncapped the marker and wrote on the ukulele. When I finished, it said "Happy Anniversary, Tyler! You're the lump of my life!"

"Y/n, why does it say lump?"

"Inside joke, you wouldn't understand." She nodded in agreement and started the car.

By the time we made it home, it was already 4. We walked in and found Tyler sitting anxiously on the couch. When he heard the door close, he sprung off the couch and ran over to me. He embraced me in a tight hug. "Nice to see you too, Tyler." I had the ukulele hidden away in my backpack so he wouldn't see.

"Where have you guys been? You left at like noon, what the heck."

"We were..." I didn't want to tell him the real answer, "out."

"Whatever, it doesn't matter. You're here now, that's what is important." He hugged me tighter and pulled me by the hand to his room. "Why did you do that? You said you wouldn't fight anyone!"

"Technically, it wasn't a fight because she just pussied out and didn't hit back."

"Babe, you know what I mean. You broke a girl's nose just because she was talking crap. You can't just do that!"

"Who are you to tell me what I can and can't do?"

"I'm your boyfriend, that's who!" He looked like he instantly regretted his statement. "Wait, babe, you know that's not-"

"Oh, I see. You're my boyfriend so you get to decide what I do! That makes perfect sense!" I left his room, trying not to appear as angry as I was. I started to slam my bedroom door, but slowed down and shut it normally. Sitting on my bed, I went over what happened and tried to decide if I overreacted or not. Maybe just a little. I just sat on my bed for the rest of the night and thought up ways to apologize. I ended up falling asleep before I could make a decision.

The next morning, I woke up to my alarm and started getting ready for school. When I went out of my room with my stuff, I found Chris in the kitchen. "Morning, Chris."

"What are you doing up? You're suspended, remember?" The events of the previous school day shuffled through my mind.

"Sh-crap. That's right." I went upstairs and knocked on Tyler's door.

"Come in!" I opened the door and caught him just as he was putting his shirt on. I hugged him tightly and rested my head against him.

"I'm so sorry for how I acted yesterday. I knew what you meant, but I still went off as if I didn't and for that I am so so sorry. I hope you can forgive me." He kissed the top of my head.

"Of course I forgive you. It's partially my fault for not thinking before I spoke. I usually find a way to say exactly what I'm thinking, but when it comes to you my brain is just a complete mess and I come off sounding like an idiot." He tilted my head up and looked in my eyes. "I love you so much."

"I love you too." He looked at the time and realized he only had a few minutes to get to school.

"I have to go. There's a surprise for you when I get back, so just wait." He kissed me and left his room. He remembered something and came back. "Happy anniversary, love." He left me alone in his room once again.

"Happy anniversary..." I said to him, even though he couldn't hear me. I slumped on his bed and smelled his pillow. "It smells like him in here." He had only been gone for a few minutes, but I already missed him. I grabbed my laptop from my room and went back to his to do my online makeup work for the time I was missing. At about 11, when Tyler would be in fourth hour, I felt my phone buzz.

Tyjo: I miss you so much :(

Y/n: I miss you too :(

Tyjo: I don't think I can get through the day without you...

Y/n: I know the feeling babe. But you have to. Shouldn't you be paying attention to class?

Tyjo: Who needs geometry when I have you? You're my angle

Y/n: Wooww

Tyjo: See what I did there?

Y/n: You have a pun for every occasion, don't you?

I never got a response, so I assumed the teacher took his phone. I tried not to worry about it and just finish my work. I was finally done at about noon. Oh, Jay gets home from Pre-K soon. I went downstairs to wait for Jay. When I heard his bus pull up, I went outside to get him. When he saw me, he ran up and hugged me. "Hey, Jay!"

"Y/n, why aren't you in school?" He was used to getting home before me.

"Because I was naughty and got in trouble."

"Ooh, I'm telling my mommy!" He ran inside to tell Kelly. I laughed and went in after him. He found Kelly in the kitchen and started pulling on her pant leg. "Mommy, mommy!"

"What is it, sweetie?"

"Y/n got in trouble!"

"I know, and since she was bad, she gets to play with you all day!"

Jay squealed in excitement. He grabbed my hand and pulled me into the room he shared with Zack. "We are gonna play with cars." He pulled out the easily hundreds of toy cars he had and forced me to play with him. A few hours into it, he started getting really tired. I put him down for a nap and cleaned up his toys. How does one child have so many toys? When I finished, I was feeling just as tired as Jay, but when you're a teenager, naps aren't as normal.

"Mom! I'm home!" I heard Tyler yell from the front door. I ran out there and attacked him with a hug. "I missed you so much, y/n."

"I missed you too." I heard a scoff from behind Tyler. I looked over his shoulder and saw a short red-head with a bandage over her nose.

"You saw each other this morning, calm down." Kylie said while rolling her eyes.

"The fuck is she doing here?" I pulled away from Tyler and asked.

"Our science teacher assigned partners for a project and he just happened to pair me with her." You have to be kidding...
