"Wait hwat?" I was a little scared about what Tyler was going to do, but I didn't stop him. He started by putting his hands on my waist. He quickly moved his hands around and began tickling me. I was laughing uncontrollably and tears started welling in my eyes. "Tyler! Stop!" He wouldn't stop and continued to tickle me. "Tyler I can't breathe!" His relentless tickling wouldn't let up. After a few minutes, I was entirely out of breath and my midsection was numb. Tyler finally stopped and allowed me to breathe. After I caught my breath, I felt like I had to explain what happened with Gaige. "I am so sorry. I didn't think he would do that. He specifically said just as friends so I assumed it would be okay. I'm so sor--"

"I'll keep tickling you if you apologize one more time." I shut up, knowing he would keep that promise. "I understand. I don't blame you at all." He kissed my forehead softly. "It's okay."

"I feel like I need to make it up to you somehow."

"Hush. You don't. You did nothing wrong. He was the idiot who thought it was okay to kiss my girl." Butterflies went crazy in my stomach every time he would call me his girl. "I'm sorry I reacted the way I did. I couldn't control myself. I saw him kiss you and I just kinda lost it."

"Why were you there anyway?"

"I told you I don't trust him, so when you said you were going to the park, I felt like it was my obligation to make sure he didn't do anything stupid. I knew he was looking at you like that!" Tyler gave me an "I told you so" sort of look.

"Yeah, yeah. You were right, I was wrong." I realized Tyler was still pinning me down by my shoulders. "Can you let me up now?"

"Just one more thing." He kissed my neck just by my ear. The spot he knew always made me flinch. "There." He pulled his hands off me and sat next to me. I sat up and fixed my hair from the squirming I did while he tickled me. Tyler intentionally ruffled my hair with his hands. "Perfect."

"Funny." I tried to fix the mess he created but he swatted my hands away.

"I said it's perfect." I rolled my eyes at how childish he was being.

"I was astonished to see you holding Gaige up like that. I must admit, you looked pretty badass." Tyler blushed a little and ran his fingers through his hair.

"You really think so?"

"I really think so. The way you protected me from him was so brave." He blushed more and smiled. His smile broke as my phone started ringing. I looked at it and scoffed. "It's the wet blanket." Tyler's confused look required me to explain, "it's Gaige. Should I answer it?"

"Put it on speaker phone." I answered and did as he said.

"What do you want, Gaige?"

"Just let me explain."

Tyler spoke up in his manly voice, "you have one minute. Go."

"You said that you moved back home, and I knew that you were living with Tyler because you were together. I figured that if you moved out you must have broke up or something. I should have asked, and I'm sorry."

"You're right. You should have asked. Buh-bye." I hung up and dropped my phone. "So, how'd that go?"

"I think you should forgive him."

Tyler's sudden change caught me off guard. "Woah woah woah. You just tried to kill the guy, and now I should forgive him?"

"He apologized and I think he was sincere."

I hate when he's right. "Fine. I'll forgive him." I picked my phone back up off the floor

and texted Gaige.
