Anyone in the world can tell when Mabel has arrived. I had just gotten out of the shower and wrapped myself in a towel when she came bounding into the room squealing.

"YOU HAVE A DATE WITH DIPPER!!!" She exploded in giddy excitement, she set a big bag , overflowing with makeup and clothes, down beside her feet and clapped her hands.

"I knew there was something about you, and here I was thinking Dipper will be forced to be with Pacifica. He sees her as a nice friend, she sees him as more you know! I myself, didn't want him to end up with a Northwest after a while, they're just to...rich for him, I guess."

I was silent. So was Ariel.

"Was it something I said?" Mabel asked at the newfound silence. Ariel gazed over at me, as if to ask if it was okay to tell. "Umm, Pacifica just is a hard name to hear for me. She bullies me when she gets the chance." I kinda lied.

Mabel's eyes widened. "I'm so sorry. Let's just focus on your outfit for the date."

I sighed. "It's not a date, Dipper is just doing a favor for me."

Mabel and Ariel smirked, "Yeah right!" They whispered to each other.

I rolled my eyes as Mabel opened a suitcase. Pounds of clothes exploded from it. "Mabel where did you get all these clothes? " Ariel asked, while pulling a scarf off her arm as I pulled a shirt off of my head.

"Gideon. I'm supposed to be giving him a second chance, at least that'a how he puts it. I'm only his friend and his only friend right now. He lets me bedazzle his clothes though so I can't complain." She smiled, digging through the piles.

Within minutes we put together a creamy off-white shirt with a forest green vest, jeans and brown boots. ( This outfit is not mine and all credit goes to it's creator.)

Mabel brushed my hair while Ariel fixed my blush and lipstick. Together they made me look as if I were going to the Northwest Party.

"Beautiful! Dipper will love it!"

"Yuppers! let's head over there right now!"

I checked the watch that had been wrapped around my wrist by Mabel, "But it's a little less than two hours until lunch time."

"We can head over there early and you and Dipper can swung by Greasy's Diner before hunting for those crystals!" Mabel suggested.

"I don't know..." My skeptical side showing. "C'mon it'll be perfect. Mabel and I will come with you for lunch if you want."

"Fine but you have to sit at a different table."

"We could go in disguise! I got fake mustaches we can use!"

I sighed with a smile. Weird friends helping me with a weird date for this weird day.

So you admit it's a date?

No! Stop it Billie! It is most definitely not a date!

So what you're saying is...you're still single?

That better be a joke Billie.

It was, it is. It was just a joke. (Y/n), you act so fierce!

I giggled aloud at Billie's tone. Both Ariel and Mabel shot me confused glances as they placed their fake mustaches on.

See you later (Y/n). I don't think Pine Tree will mind if I crash the party. Reality is an illusion, the universe is a hologram, buy gold, bye!

Why do you always say that before leaving me alone? What does it mean? Wait by Pine Tree, do you mean Dipper?

No answer given.

Billie? Don't appear on our dat-lunch meet up! I swear!

No answer, again.

Gosh dang it! Answer me!

No answer, give it up (Y/n).

I stomped my foot on annoyance but looked to see that Ariel and Mabel had big hats and thick trench coats added to their disguise.

I laughed in spite of myself as we left Ariel's house for The Mystery Shack.
