Disproving Calculations - Part 1

(Friday afternoon,while analyzing some really old remains)

He planned everything. There was no need to worry. They would pick her up, after work. She knows that. He had already ordered food, to be at his door at 8 pm. They would talk and this time he will kiss her. And when there is time, he shows her Firefly. She sounded really interested when he told her about his favorite TV show. And he will tell her. Angela told him, he should tell her how he feels, before asking her if he was allowed to call her his girlfriend. And he would try it. Because she will understand.

Her understanding of his problem with driving, and calculating things, it's new for him. She doesn't even think it's strange. He appreciates that.

How she hugged him in the hospital. He didn't manage to tell her, because he didn't know how. But it felt right, it helped. He didn't know why, but it doesn't matter to him anymore.

He likes what she does to him. First, he was scared, but now he likes the adrenaline rushing his body, when he just looks at her. Sometimes, he only has to think about her, to feel the warmth floating his body.

He thinks he understands, what Angela meant about 'you will know, when it's the girl'. He absolutely knows. But Angela scared him, too. She said, it was possible that she is the girl. But 'don't you screw this up, Zack.' As if he wasn't nervous enough. Explaining to someone what's going on inside him, beside all the work stuff, that's something he never did.

"Zack?" There you go, no time left for thinking.
"Yes, Dr. Brennan?"
"What can you tell me?"
