Hyrule Field. A vast expanse of lilies, silent princesses, and herbs to cure every illness. Flanked by river gorges, forests, mountains of snow and grass, creatures akin to horses and birds of all Hyrulean genuses, and capped off with a glorious castle that stood proud in the sunlight of teh afternoon.
Finally Zelda could rest, knowing the white blanket of the mountains would not chill her bones. Link was used to the permafrost, but Zelda always liked nice warmth in the grasslands by the castle, yet never the blistering heat of the Gerudo Desert. Sand always caught in her boots, yet grass and flowers stood silent under her feet, the morning dew casting glitter all over the field.
Alas, the duo were exhausted, and happy to be joined with their equestrial companions on the journey home.
Besides Zelda's problems regarding the increase in beast activity in Hyrule, today was the dreaded day to meet the new candidates for Champions to pilot the Divine Beasts in stead of the four Champions one hundred years past. Both Zelda and her knight longed to see Mipha, Daruk, Revali, and Urbosa, yet their souls had departed.
A breeze passed, and soon Zelda caught sight of a woman out in the field. Her bronze skin gave away her Gerudo identity, and her long shining red locks pervaded her breasts and abdomen of muscles. Jewels covered her bodice, and she stood tall in the distance. Besides her glorious conposure, her face warned that something of peril was nearby.
"Link, look!" Zelda pointed to the Gerudo woman, on the ground while a massive white moblin towered over her, boko bat in hand, readying a strike when---
Link barged in, creating a partition between the Gerudo and the howling monster that towered over the Hylian Champion. The Master Sword glowed with brilliance, and once the moblin took a strike at Link. Not for a second did Zelda move or worry for him, as he dodged at the perfect time, and unleashed a flurry of blows to the beast.
The Gerudo could not believe her eyes when the moblin disintegrated into malice. Malice? This caught Zelda and Link's eyes. The duo approached the Gerudo, hoping that Malice was not an omen...
"Sav'orq," greeted the Gerudo, a thank you in her language. "Are you the princess? And the knight?" Her blue eyes widened and shone like sapphires.
Zelda placed her hands on her hips as Link helped the girl up. "Why were you out in Central Hyrule?" Zelda asked.
"Oh, I am an adventurer," exclaimed the Gerudo. "My name is Ramna," she said. "Sav'orq eternally!"
"So you scour the lands of Hyrule for treasure?" Zelda seemed unsure of Ramna, as she had never known the life of exploration.
"Treasures of ancient past yes," explained Ramna, sheathing her longsword. "But nothing I ever find is valuable. So I traveled to a place far from home. I hoped I could find some treasure here."
Zelda was confused. "I hope you don't wish to infiltrate the castle," she said with authority, something distinct from how she acted around Selmie.
"Of course not," said Ramna with a touch of fear in her voice, even if she towered over the princess. "I just hoped I could find something here. Home is so bleak nowadays."
Zelda hadn't seen the Gerudo in a hundred years, and she hoped nothing drastic had happened. "Bleak?"
"The Yiga," claimed Ramna with worry. "They captured my sister. My sister Raella. They infiltrated Gerudo Town, and once I saw Raella gone, I realized it was them."
Link stepped in. "The Yiga! I confronted Master Kohga, their boss, ten years ago! Afterwards they would not leave me be. Could this mean..."
"Yes," confirmed Ramna, holding the weapon close. "The Yiga Clan has returned in Calamity Ganon's stead. It seems they've mastered the ressurection technique."
Zelda exchanged glances with her knight. "Ramna of the Gerudo, we will rescue your sister. Come the morning we will send soldiers in your direction. Thank you for telling me."
Ramna's face went from inferior fear to ecstasy. "sav'orq! Oh happy day. Thank you princess." To Zelda's demise, the Gerudo lady bowed, and whistled for her horse, wherever it was.
The duo was alone, looking north to the nearby castle. "Well, now we have our source. Let's just get through today, then we will see what we can do about the Yiga."
