In Sync (Jhobea)

Bea's POV

Bigla nalang siyang nahimatay kanina. Sobrang init niya pala tas di siya nagsasabi. Kinabahan ako dun ah.

Ngayon nandito kami sa kwarto. Nagpapahinga siya sa bed. Pinapunta ko yung medic nila kanina, and yun nga, nothing serious. Tinanong nila ako kung nagpaulan ba siya or what, syempre di ko alam. Then I remembered, umulan pala kanina. Tsk.

"Bei.." She uttered, weakly.

"Hey, take a rest first. Don't move too much." Inayos ko ang kumot niya at hinaplos ang kanyang buhok.

"I'm sorry, I ruined our night. I was suppo-" I shushed her and smiled.

"Wala kang kasalanan, Louisse. It's fine by me. My priority is your health. Okay?" I rubbed my thumb on her hand.

"Okay, but sorry parin." She pouted.

Pagkatapos ng conversation namin na iyon, natulog ulit siya.

I decided to call Jana. Icancel ko muna meeting nila.

"Hello, Jana? This is Bea."

"Uy, Bea! Ba't napatawag ka?"

"I just want to let you know na di muna kayo pwede magmemeet ni Louisse. She's sick kasi eh." I heard her sigh.

"Ah ganoon ba? Okay lang saakin. Kamusta siya?" Nag-aalala niyang tanong.

"Ayun nagpapahinga. I talked to her about you. She's looking forward to meet you." I can feel her smiling on the other line.

"Talaga?! Naku, nakakatuwa naman! I can't wait to meet her." I chuckled, fan na fan talaga siya.

"Soon, Jana. For now, she needs to rest. Sige, I gotta go. Binabantayan ko pa siya eh." I heard her laugh.

"Okay, Bea. Thank you ha? I owe you bigtime! Goodbye." Then she hung the call.

I put my phone on the desk next to the bed. I'm sitting here sa sofa. Maybe, dito nalang ako matulog para comfortable si Louisse. It's past 10 narin naman. I have to sleep kasi maaga pa flight namin tomorrow.

I did various of sleeping positions pero hindi talaga ako makatulog. What to do now?

"Aha! I know what to do!" I quickly rushed to get my guitar and notebook. I'll write a song nalang.

I'm humming a melody and recording it sa phone when I heard Louisse talk.

"Don't leave me." Who is she referring to?

"Stop it." Sumisipa sipa pa siya sa kama.

"Louisse?" I put her messy hair at the back of her ear. She woke up and started crying. I hugged her immediately.

"Beibei.." She's still crying. What did she dream about?

"Hey, it's just a nightmare okay? Calm down na. Ssssh." I stood up to get her water from the kitchen. When I did, I lend it to her for her to drink.

"Thank you." Sabi niya then nilapag niya yung glass of water sa side table.

"What did you dream about, Louisse?" I asked her out of curiosity. She seems really scared kanina.
