In Sync (Jhobea)

Bea's POV

Andaming tao dito at sobrang lakas ng tugtog. It's midnight yet the sounds are so loud in here. Ang usok, mainit, at amoy alak ang mga tao.

"Beatriz, are you out of your mind?!" Sigaw ni Thirdy dahil sobrang lakas ng music na di na kami magkarinigan.

I smiled and laughed. "No, I'm completely sane, Thirds."

"Ang kulit mo talaga, Bea!" He growled in frustration.

"Just enjoy! Minsan lang 'to!" I screamed through the blasting sound. He just rolled his eyes as his reply.

Hinila ko na si Thirdy dun sa part na may tagong table. Atleast we won't get seen from there. Mamaya, may pap pala dito sa loob. Mahirap na.

"What will you order?" I asked Thirdy.

"No thanks." He replied.

"C'mon, Thirdy! Loosen up will you? Nothing will happen if we drink." Thirdy doesn't seem convinced yet. He's still looking at me weirdly and doubtful with whatever he'll answer. In the end, he sighed in defeat. "Fine. Just a few okay?"

"Ayooooooon oh! Thank you!" I hugged him and smiled. He just smiled back at me. Wait, ba't siya namumula?

"Why are your cheeks heating up? We aren't yet drinking." I laughed.

"W-wala 'yan." He looked away.

I called the waiter to get us some drinks. Buti nalang ang comfortable dito sa VIP area. Hindi mainit and spacious unlike outside.

We ordered our drinks then the waiter left. I've decided to chat with Thirdy while we're waiting for our drinks.

"Hey, Thirds. This is the right time to talk about 'your love of your life'." I said and smiled.

"You know what? You're so makulit, Beatriz." He rolled his eyes at me and crossed his arms. Daig niya pa'ko ah. Just kidding.

"What?! I just said something. It's not like I'm commanding you or what." Thirdy looks at me sharply now. Damn boy, chill. Masyado kang triggered. Hahahahaha.

"Why do you want to know?" Thirdy asked. He sounds so serious.

"I want to know her because I'd like her to know how lucky she is to have you. Imagine that?! A bestfriend and a lover into one. That's cool." I genuinely said.

I felt the need to look at him after a few seconds because he got quiet after I said my statement. I saw him half-smiling at me. I don't know, but I think he wants to cry yet he prevents himself.

"And if that happens, we would go on a double date. You with her, and me with my love, Louisse." I smiled. I can imagine how awesome would that be if that happened. We're both happy with our persons.
