"I'm sorry, I should've told you I'm going out." He sounded apologetic. I looked at him and he was serious. "No need for that. I went out today too but I didn't tell you. I don't think it's necessary-"

"Of course it's necessary," He cut me off. His brows furrowed as he looked at me. "That's one more thing you should get used to." He continued. It felt weird to hear those words coming from him. As far as I know only couples should do that. I bit my lip at the thought and looked away. "By the way, who were you with earlier?" He asked again.

"Oh, I was with Jihoon and-"

"Why are you always with Jihoon?" He asked right away without letting me finish, frown evident on his face. "He's my friend Dani-" "Yeah, right." He muttered under his breath as I returned his frown. "Would you please stop cutting me off?" I snapped at him. He just stared at me seriously and it made me suddenly uneasy. Damn Daniel and those stares.

"W-What?" I asked when he didn't utter a word. I got no reply as he just stared at my eyes then down to my lips. I suddenly grew nervous since it was just like before. I took a step back away from him but he just stepped closer. "Y-yah, Daniel! I told you not to make a move like this!"

"And I told you I can't promise anything." He whispered as he inched his face closer to mine. I gulped when I felt his breath on my face. I bit my lip and tried to look away but held my chin. "Biting your lip is seriously a bad move, Saeron. You're inviting me in." My eyes widened and I was about to protest when he leaned in closer, making me shut my mouth instantly.

I put my hands on his chest to push him away but I can't bring myself to do that. I know a part of me wanted this. Waited for this. And so when our lips touched the only thing I could do was close my eyes and embrace his warm lips against mine. I gripped on his shirt as I felt his lips move. He kissed me gently until I was able to open my mouth and do the same.

His hands slid down from my arm to my waist. He pulled me closer and held me tightly. My heart was beating loudly and it felt like it was going to explode. My knees weakened at his touch, at his lips. His mouth tasted sweet yet minty at the same time. His kiss felt so nice and I feel like I don't want to stop but then he pulled back.

His eyes softened as it bore into mine. His other hand made its way up to my face and tucked the lost strand of hair behind my ear. I was lost in his gaze and I was still not over his kiss. I was breathing hard as I stare back at him. "Don't you turn your back against me again like that ever again. And stop hanging out with Jihoon." He whispered softly but the last sentence was uttered with authority.

"You're making me jealous and scared at the same time, Saeron." He leaned in until our foreheads touched. "Don't do that, not when I already sorted out my feelings for you." He added, making me snap back at him. He was staring intently into me and no trace of playfulness was seen.

He leaned into my side and his lips touched my ears. The loud beating inside my chest hadn't stopped. And if I felt like it was about to explode earlier, I think it was about to stop now. Specially when he uttered his next words that shook me.

"I love you, Saeron."

I woke up after my awful sleep. I wasn't able to sleep early last night because of what just happened. The words Daniel had said kept repeating in my head over and over again. The taste of his lips never left my mind and I only struggled to find the rest I've been looking for last night. I forgot what time I managed to close my eyes and fell off to sleep but one thing I know is that the bags under my eyes says what I've been through last night.
