I walked alone in the sidewalk as I find my way back home. I took a taxi but I decided to take a walk so I ended up getting off half way. I wanted to clear my mind. The texts messages I've been receiving are bothering me so much. I blocked the person who was sending me those weird messages but still it haunts me.

The last thing I received was a creepy text saying 'We will meet again soon.' It freaked the heck out of me so I blocked whoever that is. I should've done that earlier or never tried to ask who it is in the first place. I thought it was just someone I know pulling a prank on me but it felt different. It's scaring me. It can be him which I definitely prayed not. I sighed and hugged myself as the wind blew.

I looked at my watch and it's seven o'clock in the evening. I went to other places after the workshop to clear my mind. I succeeded in forgetting about Daniel for a while but that's not because of my own doing. It's because of the weird messages. I keep thinking that it was just a prank that it might be Gahyeon or Hyeri. But after calling them, it turns out that those two aren't doing anything.

I looked around and realized that I was walking on a different alley. I must've turned a different way earlier. I've been here but I don't usually use this path to go home since it'll take longer to arrive home. In fact, this path leads to the bridge but if I continue for that place it'll get darker. As I've said it's kind of abandoned so people don't bother putting many light post in this area straight to the river.

Turning back will be useless now so I just continued walking. This alley is more quiet and felt lonely since there aren't many houses.

My phone rang so I stopped walking and took it out from my bag. I answered Daniel's call and decided to stop by and sit on the side of the street. "Hello?" I said to the other line. "Saeron, where are you?" Daniel's deep voice filled my ears and it reminded me how much I missed him. "I'm on the alley headed straight to the river but I won't go there, why?"

"You told me that place is abandoned, why are you there?" He sounded confused. "I just took a wrong turn, don't worry I'm on my way home." I said but I he spoke up again. "Are you alone?" He asked a hint of worry on his voice. "Yes, why?" My brows furrowed at his tone. I heard his sigh and I think he cursed under his breath. It made me more confuse. "Daniel what's the ma-"

"Text me the exact place where you are and stay right there. Wait for me, I'm coming." I can sense his frustration, but why? What's he frustrated about? "Okay, I'll hung up." I said before ending the call. I quickly texted him the place. I wasn't sure about the address so I just told him the way and my exact spot.

He didn't reply maybe because he was driving. I waited for him since that's what he told me. I looked around the place and it made me realize how scary it is. If it wasn't for the house I saw nearby that have lights, I would've thought I'm in a horror movie or something. The silence was deafening and nothing could be heard. I bit my lip and just called Daniel, I was thankful he picked up instantly.

"Saeron! Are you okay?" He asked almost in panic. I was confused why he would act like that. "I'm okay, it's just scary please hurry up." I pleaded since I really feel scared as time pass by. I heard him sigh in relief, "I'm almost there, don't worry." He said softly, reassuring me. "Okay, please drive safely, bye." I said before hanging up.

It was quiet again after the call but now I feel a bit better. Daniel is almost here, I just have to wait. I reassured myself a few times and I succeeded lifting off the fear off my chest when I heard a footsteps coming closer. I thought it was Daniel but I was wrong. "How unusual to see you hear." A deep voice spoke up, a different yet familiar one.
