"OMG!" The guy exclaims. "My best friends are HEEEERE!!!" His face suddenly falls and he pouts teasingly. "I stopped by yesterday and you weren't here...I had to go to a meeting with a president because of that."

Abby laughs, holding her mug of cocoa with both hands. "HAH!" she teases, before taking a drink of her cocoa. I glance at Austin and we're both sharing the same confused look.

A meeting with the president? I pull my hood up, but it doesn't seem like he's noticed us yet as he engulfs both Abby and Cas in a bone-crushing hug. They hug back with one arm since their other hand is holding their cocoa. "It's so good to see you, Jack!" Abby beams happily and the young man, Jack, ruffles her hair before grinning at Cas. Then he notices us.

"Oooooh...." He looks at us curiously as he plops onto the floor.

Wow. He looks nothing like his father.

I blink. What?!

Hm?

I sigh mentally in annoyance, but I'm snapped out of my thoughts when I realize Jack is literally in my face. I blink and I'm about to push him away when he crawls over to Austin and does the same thing. Then he sits back and taps his chin. I process this behavior carefully.

I've come to the conclusion that this Jack person is officially crazy.

Jack turns and looks at Abby and Cas, pointing at Austin and I. "Those two will start dating." He predicts and my eyes widen, as does Austin's.

"Excuse me?!" I'm shocked, and I try to drown out the laughter filling my head.

He shrugs, and Abby smirks. "Jack is almost never wrong when it comes to predicting couples....truuuuust me."

"Oh really?" I counter, my cheeks pink with embarrassment, which thankfully they can't see thanks to my dark complexion. "Has he ever predicted a couple for the two of you?"

"He hasn't for Abby, but he has for me," Cas says and shrugs. "It didn't work out."

"But that's why I said almost never wrong!" Abby chimes and gives Austin and I a sly smirk. "But we could never know between you two!"

Austin frowns. "Whatever," he mutters as he leans back in the chair he's in, obviously not believing it. "Who is he anyways?..." He looks at Abby and Cas while lazily waving a hand in Jack's direction.

Abby pipes up, almost eagerly. "This is our best friend, Jack! We've known him since we were eight. We met him a few months after we escaped from Facility 9!" She looks at Jack. "The grumpy one is Austin, and the quiet one is Phe."

He nods slowly and examines us for a couple moments. I take this time to do the same. His chocolate brown hair sweeps across his forehead. It's slightly bushy on the sides, covering his ears. His forest green eyes have a couple of gold flecks in the center around his pupils. There's a black line poking out from under the collar of his shirt, a tattoo maybe?

I suddenly realize they're all looking at me. "What?...." I ask, confused.

"Why do you have your hood up?..." I assume this is the second time Jack has asked, and I purse my lips, then I shrug.

My eyes widen when my hood is suddenly yanked down and my white hair tumbles out. I realize Austin had reached out and done this. I glare at him, ignoring Jack's gasp.

"No way...." He looks shocked and a little doubtful, though I can't figure out why. He soon grins and looks back at Abby. "Can we keep her?! Pleeeaassee?..." He asks as if I was some pet. I frown at this.

Abby chuckles and shakes her head, clearly amused and I stick my tongue out at her.

"Are you staying the night?..." Cas finally speaks, and Abby grins, nodding a frantic yes.
