It's raining. And nobody has an umbrella. So we let our clothes get wet, our hair, our bare skin.

If he was here, he probably would've began to cackle and dance around. He may have shoved Abby into the mud. She would've tugged him down after her. Now she stands the closest to his grave, her hand resting on the tombstone, her head hung in mournful silence.

We're back in the elven realm, in a small and secluded courtyard. While obviously cared for, nature has been allowed to naturally take over this area. Vines hang down from trees, grass and vines splitting out through the cobbled pathways. It's beautiful. One other grave is here too. Jack's mother. Conner informed us he always wanted to be buried next to her when he died.

There's not a lot of us. His father stands on the other side, and surrounding us are the Warriors. His casket was lowered into the ground a while ago. It was made of pure ivory and quartz, vines and flowers weaved around it, decorating the surface. A spell was also placed around the grave, a spell that kept his body from decomposing.

Abby's fist clenches, the one on his grave. She lets out a sob, then another, finally breaking down.

Seth scowls, glancing up and he watches us. "Someone mind explaining exactly how he died again?" His tone is flat, accusing, looking for someone to blame. I tense up as Abby flinches. She raises her head and sneers at Seth.

"How do you think, asshole?!" She snaps, and he looks surprised. "Can't you just shut your goddamn mouth for once while we mourn? You don't have to, no, cause you don't care."

Seth scoffs. "Of course I care, he was my son. It's your fault he's dead, demon."

Abby flinches at what he calls her, before she gets even angrier. "His heart wasn't in his fucking chest. And who's fault was that, hm?!" She sneers at him, letting out everything she has to say. "You never cared! You never showed any love towards him since he was a boy! You're only here because you have to be...because people would be confused if you weren't mourning your only son's death!" She heaves.

The King's face is red with embarrassment and anger. "I will not have you speak--" Abby only interrupts him.

"Don't..." She sobs. "Don't...you dare act as if you care! You're the reason he's dead in the first place! If you hadn't ripped his heart from him, this whole situation may have been different!" She slams her palms down on top of the tombstone, tears still streaming down her cheeks as she reads over what it says. "I wouldn't have needed to sacrifice myself for him, only to get tricked in the end. I would've been there to protect him from Merlin. I would've been able to help him. It all leads back to his heart which you selfishly took away from him and for what?! Punishment?!" Her head swivels up to look at Jack's father.

He sneers at her, "He murdered his own mother. My wife. It was his own fault for not controlling himself!" He snaps, and I can see his mark flicker a little. I start to take a step forward, but Abby is already speaking again.

"No it's not! It was never his fault! It's not his fault that he couldn't control his powers! It's not like he did it on purpose! He didn't mean to! He loved his mother!"

"He was a disaster waiting to happen!" Seth barks. "He was childish and unaware! He never should've met you. Maybe then he would've listened to me like he should have!"

Abby's shoulders heave with every rage-filled breath she takes in. "Get. Out."

Seth scowls and clenches his fists, taking a step forward.

"Get. OUT!" Her voice raises and I tense up again when her eyes flash purple.

Jack's father's eyes widen, then he sneers and turns on his heel, storming out. He mutters something about us and how he should have never let us stay all those years ago. This makes me scowl at the ground and I kick at a root a little.
